Thornton throws a body shot as the two wrestle around in close quarters, with Parros ripping Thornton's helmet off. They continue to grapple as Thornton throws a left. Parros lands two lefts to the back of Thornton's head as the two continue to struggle to get free. They exchange punches: Thornton with the left, Parros with the right, before Parros loses his balance and Thornton spins him to the ice.
