Sean Avery (LOS) |
Mike Fisher (OTT) |
| Comments: Fisher and Avery come together at the redline and skate toward the faceoff circle as they square each other up. Avery is the first to grab on and he gets in a right that slightly connects. Avery then attempts an awkward uppercut that misses, and Fisher comes back with a right that hits shoulder pad. Avery is on the offense again as Fisher's punch looked to slightly throw him off-balance. He throws a short right that hits shoulder pad, and he in turn gets sent off-balance. Fisher then throws an uppercut that may have slightly connected. Avery is back on his feet again and Fisher connects with two rights that don't appear to have done any damage. They wrestle for position, and each player tries a series of rights, but they are tied up pretty good. Sensing that the fight was near it's end Avery then atempts a body slam sending himself off-balance, and by that point the linesmen were in to break it up. |

Jeff Cowan (LOS) |
Chris Kelly (OTT) |
| Comments: Cowan and Kelly decide that they are going to drop the gloves near the Kings blueline and they have a pretty even square up. Cowan lunges in and starts off with a bomb that doesn't connect but sends Kelly off-balance. Cowan starts going to town on the ill-positioned Kelly as his back is turned. Kelly finally rights himself, and attempts a right of his own that misses, and Cowan is again on the offensive, landing what appears to be a right. That stuns Kelly, and he goes down, and the linesmen jump in to save him. |

Tim Gleason (LOS) |
Zdeno Chara (OTT) |
| Comments: It happens right off the faceoff after the Cowan-Kelly fight and the camera follows the play instead of the fight. By the time the camera is on the action Chara is throwing Gleason around like a ragdoll and appears to have landed a few punches to the back of his helmet. Gleason is still trying to fight while on his knees, but Chara is just two-handing him until the linesmen come in to put an end to it. Other Penalties: Chara received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct. |
