Comments: Lappy gets in some short punches and gets Morrow's helmet off. Morrow then holds on as they dance around with Lappy's helmet finally coming off. They're then in very tight with few punches thrown. After the linesmen figure out they aren't going to let go, they break it up.

Comments: Arnott gets hit by Hinote in the neutral zone and scrapes his faces along the glass, cutting him up pretty badly. Arnott goes straight after Hinote and lands a few punches to Hinote's face, nothing damaging. Then Guerin comes in and hits the back of Hinote's head. Lappy comes in to help out, but doesn't really throw anything. Other Penalties: Arnott received an instigator and game misconduct; Laperriere a roughing and game misconduct; Bill Guerin a roughing. Ian Laperriere did not receive a fighting major.
