New season kicks off tomorrow. Im excited.

I'm cautiously optimistic, will be weird getting back into watching hockey, I avoided the A and ECHL during the lockout.

I was feeling the same way a coupke weeks ago, before the jim vandermeer signing. Since it looks like he made the team, my opinion has changed. I was only gonna keep up did you see them brawl and getting whatever info through here. But im gonna watch game one.

Curious to see who starts. Who scores first. Will vandy be in opening night. Any fights. How aggressive they play the ducks. How they react if someone takes liberties on someone.

Don't expect to see anything exciting. The NHL will once again crack down on infractions & every game will be a power play fest. I don't expect much rough stuff because the games will be too close & guys like Vandermeer won't play much. I could be wrong, I hope I am but either way the NHL was ruined several years ago. Players make way too much money, fans complain about it, but then go, buy the merchandise & go to the games. They are all sheep.

Yeah. Im bummed about vandy not being dressed either. But he is up with club. We will see him sooner or later.

after a horrible showing with not much to take from the game. another chance tonight against the oilers. who starts in net? darcy hordichuk is out of the line up for the oilers. so do we still have to wait another night before we see jim vandermeer??? Aaron volpatti did look pretty good last night. the only thing missing from last night was a fighting major. i would think christopher tanev and keith ballard didnt look that great maybe making room for vandy to make the lineup ?? plus there is cam barker and andrew alberts that are also waiting to play.

I'm not happy that dale weise didnt go after sbisa last night after he slewfoot zack kassian and ran dale from behind. looked like the classic do you wanna go? no ? ok then its ok. the canucks usually bring. zack i think would of fought him earlier on but sheldon souray got in zacks face , and then that was that.

Im sour about vandy too. Canucks finally win. Zack kassian. Scores. Runs the goalie, and ends it in the shootout.

finally a decent game against the ducks. Schniders 1st shut out of the season. Zack kassian looking real good. One thing i couldnt believe how many turn down / fight challanges there were in the game. i thought something real nasty was gonna go down. I think the next time these two teams meet it will either be a real rough game or a real snoozer. i think jim vandermeer will be called up to play in it tho.
