Hey boys - I see its been pretty quiet in here the last few months, and with good reason. I'm not sure who's still left hanging around these parts, but I just wanted to take the time and come out of exile for a moment to wish all my fellow 'nuck fans a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hope all you guys are doing well and wish you and your families all the bet for 2013. Happy Holidays my friends!

Like most older fans, my enthusiasm for the NHL is at its all time low right now as a 4th work stoppage in 2 decades has taken its toll on me. The way 2012 ended for the Canucks certainly hasn't helped either, but its all combined to ensure that I honestly don't give a rats ass how far this lockout goes and whether we see NHL hockey again any time soon. But my love for the game and its history is still strong, and I'm gonna try to be around more and contribute more often in the new year. But for now - Merry Christman guys!

•Ben Kuzma via twitter: Vigneault added that Andrew Ebbett and Jordan Schroeder will compete for the 2nd line center spot, unless someone arrives by trade.
everyone look out now.
