Phoenix Coyotes Official 2011-2012 Thread
Alright fellas. We have the mini camp underway, with a lot of good defensive prospect incuding our first this year, Connor Murphy. I think Ekman will be with Phoenix the ull year and I see Gormley making his way to Portland to pair with Goncharov. Stone and Summers will for sure get a good look at in camp, hopefully replacing Schlemko.
I have compiled a list of guys we have in the system that fight pretty often. ( this is not counting the prospect we have in the Junior leagues. Hordibrusk knows more about that then I do. So feel free to add Hordi. ) Portland Pirates: Evan Bloodoff - I am assuming he will be in Portland this year. Eric Neilson Ryan Hollweg - UFA, however, I see him back with the team on a league min. Bracken Kearns Ryan Weston Dean Arsene Justin Weller Nathan Oystrick Phoenix Coyotes: Paul Bissonnette - Sad to see this is the only guy that will throw with anyone and often, on this team. I am hoping that changes. Projected lines: Korpikoski - Turris/* - Doan Stempniak - Turris/* - Boedker Whitney - Hanzal - Vrbata Bissonnette - Gordon - Torres/Pyatt Extras Nokelinin/MaClean/Tikohnov - Both MaClean and Tikohnov are no longer waiver exempt. * - Denotes for a traded center. Yandle - Morris Klesla - Rozsival Larsson - Aucoin 7th Dman - Schlemko Smith Labarbera Don Maloney has said a number of times he will trade for a first line center. I know it's still early, but I don't see that happening right now, unless it's a plug in on the 2nd line. I see Turris manning the first line this coming year. Looks pretty grim boys. I dont see this team making the playoffs with this squad. If we dont sign another tough guy, Bissonnette is going to have another year with his hands full. As I said before gentlmen I'd like to have this board get used more often than the years past. I have been on shift the past couple weeks, where I have been really busy, so if you have anything to add, by all means welcome. Still working on some media stuff that has taken me a little longer than expected, but I figured I'd get this up so we can discuss more here.

For some quick help:
In your lines, you forgot Taylor Pyatt. Add Dean Arsene on the Portland list. Nathan Oystrick can also fight and Justin Weller might be in Portland as well (hordi should confirm). --------------------------------------------------- It'll be interesting to see what happens with Boedker, Tikhonov, and Maclean. The organization is pretty high on them but unfortunately there is no room for them unless we don't bring back Korpikoski and trade Stempniak. I see Phoenix trading two of them for a good player. On toughness, its really sad. I'm not gonna get my hopes up and I'll just see where training camp goes. |

Yeah, That guy was the worst fu(king broadcaster I have ever heard.
He would lose his breath when anything exciting was about to happen and it would fu(k up the whole broadcasting. Would go something on the lines like this... "Doan to Ballard, back to.... Shot..... oh... Goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" lol

But I liked Keilbach, he was certainly a very unique announcer and kept a youngster like me in the game for several years. Anyway, with our current situation, I can't imagine us bringing in a well-known announcer again like we did with Strader. Hopefully whomever it is loves fights! |

You guys are forgetting, "He let's it go....WIDE!"
Ugh, that was annoying as hell. Now one Coyotes broadcaster a lot of people didn't like that I did was Doug McLeod. I'd happily take him back. |

At this rate Turris is lucky to even be in the NHL. How he is even trying to demand that much money is beyond me. Everybody knows he was rushed into the NHL far too soon and that has surely stunted his growth as a player. But he is nowhere near worth $4 million a year. Not by a long shot.
