As usual I am very confused after reading Frogtitz' posts. Can someone point out to me who said Rinaldo was a great fighter and when they said it?

The Rangers should have over 60 fights this year and throw a bunch of hits. Should I not be happy because they may only win five of the fights? Most of us just want to see the excitement which Rinaldo should certainly bring. Fights and hits are hard to come by these days.

The only person fixated on Rinaldo's fighting ability, or lack there of is Trognitz. Just ignore him..he'll go away again. Right rabbit?

Rinaldo injured his first player today. Those sorts of hits are what he is best at, hopefully his follow up fights are more eventful from now on.

Rinaldo did exactly what he was suppose to do. Lay a hurting on the other team. It was a bonus that it was Doughty. I am glad that he was ready and willing and took someone with better skills off the ice for the amount of time as well.

All in all good job.

I think the best part in all of this is that Rinaldo did it with a clean hit. He's being smart so far, not charging anyone into the boards like he would've done in the AHL.

Honestly, his minor penalties haven't really been that blatant. I think a couple of them were calls simply b/c he is Zac Rinaldo. (Getting 3 suspensions in a year in the AHL will earn you a target.)

Just heard a crazy stat from Thursday's game. Rinaldo had 7 hits in a little under 7 mins of ice time.

While I am typing this, he just demolished a cane. The guy can flat out hit.

The dude needs to stay. And its crazy that he Shelley and Couts or Talbot are just creating issues for teams when they are on the ice. Furthermore, Nodl must GO! Harry Z's lighting it up in Adirondack.

I agree. Harry Z is a better player than Nodl. He has a better scoring touch and is more physical.

Rinaldo Talbot Harry Z for the fourth line. Pure havok for the opposing the opposing team.

2 things last night proved why he must stay...make that three. First, he goes for a hit and forces a turnover that leads directly to a goal. (JVR) Secondly, he makes top players pay. Roy had his head down in the second and Rinaldo absolutely crushed him in front of the Flyers bench.

Thirdly, in that scrum at the end of the second period, he found Roy and gave him crap. With Kaleta getting on non tough Flyers this was a perfect response.

Just a shame their lines were never matched up. I thought for sure after Kaleta got on Voracek we'd see Rinaldo and Shelley next time their fourth line was out there.

Yeah I was kinda pissed at Lavy for not sending Rinaldo and Shelly to have a talk with Kaleta because he gave a bunch of sh*t to Voracek and had a late hit on Giroux.

Either way Rinaldo has played his role to a tee. He is not afraid to hi the other teams best player, probably because he is fast enough to cath them. He is not afraid to stand up for himself after making the hit and he understands the agitator/enforcer role.

I think tonight he gets it in with either Clarkson or Mills.

PLAY FU[King RINALDO!

That should be the new name to this thread. I think Lavy is a great coach in many aspects but one of them is not playing to his players strength. Rinaldo was a monster for the 2:24 seconds he was on the ice. Crushing hit, Goal, and breakaway. That was his three shifts.
