Zac Rinaldo

After dressing for two playoff games this year, Rinaldo is welcoming anyone who wants to try and dethrone him of a roster spot — but he doesn’t think it’s going to happen.

I am a friend of the Rinaldo family and I can't wait for this kid to crack the Flyers lineup full-time. Want a shit disturber with no fear? Insert Zac Rinaldo.

Gotta love this:
“I am 100-percent confident in what I do.”

“If someone were to try and step up and take my job, they can’t,” said Rinaldo. “I am the job, I’m the definition of an agitator, I’m the definition of a fighter. I’m the total package.”

Nicest kid off the ice...but strap those blades on...and something rattles loose.
He's just a friggin menace and hits like a wrecking ball. If you are on the ice with Rinaldo...best have your head on a swivel...cuz yer gonna get creamed. Flyers fans are gonna love Rinaldo...everyone else is going to despise him. And that is the only way he'd have it.

When I checked out some clips last year I probably watched about 8 of his fights. Of those 8 fights I think 5 of them started because of a huge hit he threw. It was like watching Steve Webb skate around the ice causing havoc. It is a lot easier for a player like Webb to play today with the lack of heavies so he could be very valuable if Lavi allows it.

I won't be hating him to start things off because players that bring excitement are hard to find these days. When they come along you have to look past the jersey so I am looking forward to see him play for now. Of course, if he steps out of line against the Rangers I will have to physically intervene.......with some badass typing.

I'm trying not to get too excited about this because I'm sure soft ass Lavy would rather have Andreas fucking Nodl in the lineup over Rinaldo, but I hope Zac sticks with the big club this year. I really want too see what kind of damage he can do at the NHL level.

Great quotes by Rinaldo too, I love the attitude on him.

None, a D level konopka or prust. it IS really sad to see flyers fans getting excited about the prospect of a mediocre fighter getting brought up to the team.

Thanks, idiot.

He brings more to the table than fighting. He hits 100 times harder than Konopka or Prust.

OK Trollnitz...so maybe in some eyes he's a mediocre fighter...Zenon Konopka sucked in Junior..remember that...plus...this kid is just not scared of anyone...
In 3 shifts against your Bruins he laid a hit on every shift...ask Bergeron if he felt this one

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

More where that came from too. He's not nicknamed the Wrecking Ball for nothing. He hits to hurt.. This kid is going to stick...and he's going to turn heads. Bank it

Love it when young guys come up with that cut-throat attitude.

I actually read that he actually has a little more skill than most people tend to realize, pretty decent hands, and that he has a pretty good potential for making the squad out of camp this season.

thei 'wrecking ball' moniker unknowing fools have hung on him is a disservice to the memory of the REAL 'wrecking ball'. Mark Recchi. who might very likely be still playing after they catch on Ronald.
konopka barely does more than sukk now. he's willing, just like ronald mc. time will tell.... that ur wrong.

btw, i'm not really a B s fan. just a FAN OF real hockey, which the Flyers are desparately trying to avoid. Simmonds is the only addition they have made so far that would indicate that they want to return to the days of the Bullies or the return of RAL hockey in the likes of Tocchet, Brown, and Berube. it's sad to see how far a once proud franchise has degenerated.

and guys like Sittler. i wonder which hand he hit Houston with ?

A disservice to the Wrecking Ball name?.... I gave him that nickname in Junior and it stuck...even got the London Knights jersey with #77 and Wrecking Ball on the back. And ...he hits 10 times harder than Recchi ever did. Nice try though. Keep swinging for the fences Trollnitz...you'll connect sooner or later. Rinaldo is a good kid..and I wish him nothing but the best. I'm honored to know his family.
