Surprisingly videos of Asham appearing to decline a fight are hard to come by on Youtube...
. However I can tell you I have seen him decline Shawn Thornton so take that for what it's worth. Over the last 2 years to only have 14 fights just isn't too impressive to me considering that's his main role.Colton Orr practically had to take his gloves off for him here.

Prust is overrated, and has been seen he joined the NYR with their media hype. No one really gave a crap about this guy when he was in Calgary or Phoenix, he was just another average middleweight.

I don't really see room for either of those guys in the lineup, but I'd go with Prust if I had to pick one. Prust fits the mold a bit better, and IMO is the easy choice over Moen or Asham. I'm a huge Asham fan and he had a great few seasons in Philly, but he just does not seem like the same player. Moen has really fallen off the map, but as RC said he may just need a change of scenery. That being said, I really can't see them carrying Rinaldo/Sestito/Shelley/Prust. I have a feeling Sestito can evolve into a solid player. I am not talking a star type player at all, but a guy who can contribute well on a 3rd 4th line type role. I can seeing him being way more of an asset than Rinaldo.

Nash would be a beast of a player on this team and take some of the defensive heat away from Giroux. The Flyers lost speed and size when they traded away Carter and JVR, Nash would fill that hole nicely. |

Prust may never hurt anyone but he rarely takes a bad loss either. He doesnt have the most exciting fights but its not like he just grabs on and hugs (ala Stortini) he just has a very technical dirty-boxing type of style. That said, i'd take the Asham of old over him any day, but that player may no longer exist and any added toughness is ok by me.

Rick Nash is over-rated. Another topic: Bernier has asked for a trade out of LA....thoughts on him as a backup? I'd take him.
