Tired of Shelley you say huh? I bet you won't be saying that this off-season when Shelley is done and when the Flyers will have no legit heavy.

shelley is like 37, he can barely skate now. So regardless he will be done after this season anyways. Mathers should get his shot next yr. Need a youth movement. And if he isnt ready im sure we will address the situation

I get that Shelley is the legit heavy. He'd be my pick to go up against teams that dress a legit heavy, but night in and night out I'd take Sestito. The kid plays with much more energy, hits a lot more, and will fight. True, Sestito can't take on the likes of Orr/MacIntyre/Scott, but really, how often will we see those guys?

the problem with sestito is he kinda sucks at fighting. he keeps his chin out and really only throws straight punches, he's got no variety to his punches. add to the fact that he runs his mouth like he can beat up brashear, and u have someone im not a big fan of. hopefully he fights better this year.

I don't think he sucks at fighting, but for a guy his size her certainly isn't as much of a beast as he could/should be. The kid can fight, just not as well as someone would expect of a guy of his stature. I also don't like him running his mouth, although I have a feeling he was just trying to show off for the 24/7 crew when he was talking to the Rangers bench. I think we can all agree that was some pretty weak trash talk. Hopefully with maturity he will lose a little bit of that arrogance.

shelley loses alot of fights as well. Yea he can hang with the tougher guys better, but he still loses alot and bleeds alot lol. im not a huge fan of sestito either but hes more exciting to watch tho. i guess we all just miss the days of having a dominant HW guy

shelley's probably the best HW we've had since brashear and u greatly overstate his losses. the only clear loss he had last year was to boulton, a legit HW. sestito might be more fun to watch play hockey, but he's not more fun to watch as a fighter.

He's still a 50/50 fighter, and he's past his prime.

True, but while he's here, the Flyers should get every last drop of fighting out of him on the ice.

McGinn, Laughtn, and Sestito...that's one pretty tough line to play against. Haha, all 3 fight well, hit well, and have offense in their game. Too bad Lavi think's Wellwood's "good."

Simmonds should be in the top 6. I'd even put him on the first line with Hartnell and Girioux. Then have Schenn, Couterier, and Vorachek on 2nd.
At least til Briere gets healthy. Also like to see McGinn get a spot and send Laughton back to juniors. McGinn could be good on the 3rd line with Talbot and Fedotenko.
