Oh boy here we go...superstar goes down and suddenly the best player on the team is the guy that was just called up from the minors. Not good. This injury better not be long tern.

Also, I see many requests for Drury to step up...didnt we all go over this when they signed him? At best hes going to get you around 25 goals and 50-65 points. He's never hit 70 points in his career. He is getting the money he is getting becuase he wins faceoffs, plays all situation, will score the odd goal, and he's a good passer. He is also a good leader and locker room guy. I do agree he needs to step up with Gaborik up, but we can't hope for miracles here. He's probably never going to hit 30 goals again(only done twice so far) and 70+ points is just a pipe dream.

Is brash hurt or something. How do you not dress your heavy against the Isles. I mean i know they have no real heavy on the Isles but atleast have Brash out there like you said to start or spark this team.
As for Avery he needs to be the pest he was born to be and get this team going to. Someone needs to step up here and get us back to that 6-1 team we started the season off at.

PotvinSucks is Gay.
I feel for you guys. Gaborik is sssiiicckkk. I'm always happy when the Isles beat the Rags but I'm sure it would of been a different game if Gaborik was playing.

I'm posting here because I'm curious about your guys take on Avery. As much as I hate him, he still makes the game so much more interesting when he is himself which he doesnt really seem to be this year, or at least wasnt last night. Whats the deal with him this year, or am I way off base?
Del Zotto.... Awesome pickup. Rangers defense is gonna be pretty legit for a while.

Happy early birthday homo. I was talking to your brother the other day about the "new" Avery. Youre definitely not off base! Boring as all hell. I think its just because Tortorella has him on a super short leash and is looking for any excuse to bench him. I dont think Torts is a big fan of Avery to begin with. Besides his fight with Mottau last week, he's been pretty tame.

Rangers defense is legit? When did this happen? They lost to the Islanders last night...you dont get more illegitimate than that! Del Zotto is pretty solid though, just wish the Rangers had a bruiser on their blue line....

I didnt say they were legit last night but, Del Zotto has to be a nice surprise, Girardi is pretty sick, Stall is awesome. The team is an improvement from last year, but I think the season is going to depend upon how healthy Gabby stays. As weird as this sounds, I want Avery back

All I keep reading is he has overall body soreness! Now what the hell is that and why do I sense the Rangers bullsh*tting about Gaborik's knee and it's nothing becomes like 5-10 games gone. Reyes was nothing either with the Mets and he was gone for like 130 games and finally needed surgery!
These NY teams tend to lay it on thick with the injuries and I hope that I am wrong!

Maybe they just wanted to give him a rest hoping that since we had the Isles it was gonna be a game where they didnt really need Gaborik. Thats what im hoping. But we shall see tonight. Hopefully Gab and Brash are in. Someone get Brash a dirty hooker or some chinese massage so he can get rid of his body soreness and actually pull his weight on this team.

Finally a win in a good defensive game. Another great goal by Gaborik and again he shows how to finish. Get it away quick and on net-period! It's the Espo motto and not the Nedved or Kovalev motto of fuc*ing up the play and never finishing!
This Gaborik is some player!
Byers looks good when given a shot and I don't know why he doesn't stay and Voros leaves!
I just saw those Soryal fights against the junior Bruins last night and that guy can fight.
150 wins now for Hank and his 21st shutout. Lastly I was thankful that the Rangers were on because it allowed me to turn off the Giants sh*t in Philly!

http://www.rangercrisis.com/

Guys here is something to cheer you up! This great Rangers Crisis website has a wonderful 6 minute clip of the Rangers kicking the Flyers as* in the 1983 playoffs! Father Smurf Anders Hedberg and son smurf Mark Pavelich are making the Flyers look like bigger fools than those goddamn pants they were wearing and get aload of the whining Bobby Taylor!
Some things never get old!
Bobby Taylor and Ed Van Impe crying!
Go relive some great memories and thanks to Rangers Crisis! A great Ranger website!

Since its been a ghost town in here so allow me to vent..

I dont understand why the retarded fans at MSG were booing Brash in his last fight against Boulton. Brashear never asked to be signed by the Rangers. Our idiot GM was stupid enough to pay an againg Brash a sh*tload of money. I dont think its fair to boo Brash. Its not his fault our pu$$y of a head coach didnt dress him the majority of games.

Which brings me to my next venting point...John Tortorella.

You are a fukcing asshole. You are turning my beloved Rangers into the Detroit Red Wings (minus the talent). You have given me no reason to watch the team that I have loved watching since I was 8 years old. You have turned Sean Avery, a sparkplug in the Rangers lineup into nothing more than a 4th line time waster. He is no longer an asset to this team. It is also your fault IMO that Drury got hurt in Calgary. How you decided not to dress an enforcer on a trip to Western Canada is beyond me. The team is a bunch of pu$$ies. The team captain gets a cheapshot to the head and NOT ONE player on the ice even pushes Glencross. They should fukcing be embarassed for that and if I were Chris Drury, I would retire because its clear that no one has anyone's back on this team.

Speaking of having people's back...Ryan Callahan (one of the only guys on this team with heart) gets hit from behind by Bogosian against Atlanta. I love the fact how #1, there was no call on the hit and #2, again, not one player came as close as to even push Bogosian for his hit from behind. At least Callahan had the fukcing balls to stand up for himself when not one of his teammates had the class to step in when Ryan was down on the ice.

Back to Glenn Sather.

Well done you stupid fukc. You have managed to put a team together that completely lacks chemistry and team unity. Our defense is a fukcing joke thanks to you. Your apparent infatuation with Redden and Rozival is blinding you from bringing up some of the talent from Hartford. You have had the opportunity to sign some bruising big defenseman but youre moronic contracts handed out to the pu$$ies that currently occupy our blue line has prevented that.

And one last point. How many fukcing times does Henrik Lundqvist need to get hit by opposing players before one of our pu$$ies does something about it?

Memo to our entire defense...Toughen the fukc up you bunch of undersized vaginas.

That is all.

Real nice job bro..Your on the money..They are just awful to watch..I would trade Rozival for a roll of tape..I think it was last year he got clipped in the face and he threw off his gloves and goes down like his eyeball was on the ice..I honestly think Torts hates fighters...I would be shocked if any player on the Rags liked this asshole..We will NEVER see Soryal with Torts here..

The only thing I can think of in regards to Brashear being booed is the initial hugging in the fight against Boulton because once Brash started throwing punches those boos went right out the window......everything else you said is spot on! Oh and one thing to add regarding the " King" he gives up way too many soft goals and can't steal a game to save his life!

anyone who boo's brash at this stage of the game(meaning @ 20 gms in) is a dumbass,he is our guy now,and whether torts plays him or not,it is torts fault not brash's(i do remember hearing db had a sore hand though) one ore two scratches may have been justified.
they;torts/sather/the league, have seemingly been successful in turning avery into a mcmurphyesque characer a'la 'one flew over the cuckoos nest'
sean's "game" has been lobotomized.
if the current trend of being abused by opposing teams through unanswered cheap shots and running hank continues,i can forsee avery saying "enough is enough already" snapping, and taking matters into his own hands.this will no doubt result in his trial for war crimes and subsequent crucifixtion.

it would be very hard to overstate my dislike of sather in his tenure here.

torts, although i have some degree of admiration for his "vision" and "philos" i.e,the attack/forcheck mindset,he does imo have a bit to much of an arrogant approach that negatively overshadows his technical game analysis.torts needs to remember, its not all about "him"

there are bright spots, not the leat of which is the pleasure of watching del zotto get better n better, and prospol has emerged as a capable and worthy team leader.

i am still hopful about our season, but in the cold light of day they still look like a team that gets two rounds into the playoffs, tops.
for the present, they need to string a few wins together to regain a bit of confidence then build on that.
