To early to panic but Torts has shown me nothing since he's been here and his unwillingness to play guys like Orr, Avery or any player along those lines just drives me crazy. I really wish he would go. I really cant take seeing his face behind the bench anymore.

Wolski is taking up space. I don't think he serves any more of a purpose than Zuccarello did, but they would have to waive Wolski instead of just demoting him. I would have preferred to see Dale Weise stick around, but he'll go on to have a decent career just like most of the young guys the Rangers lose without giving a real shot. Honestly, I think if they really want to get anything done this season as far as changing the team, they will have to part ways with Girardi, Biron, Del Zotto, and possibly Anisimov(if they are going to bury him on the 4th line they might as well trade him).

I hate how torts keeps changing the lines. They are constantly pinned in their own end and the defense looks slow. I know its early in the season but they need a good game against the Senators to build confidence. Doesn't look good for Staal this year, I wonder how the thanksgiving dinner will be at their house this year?

This team is garbage. I'd rather have Avery in the lineup than pretty much any of these bums not named Dubinsky, Callahan, Gaborik, or Richards.
Girardi further cemented himself as one of the biggest pu$$ies after not doing anything when he got hit at the end of the 2nd period. |

I can't agree with wanting to see Avery in the lineup over most of the guys, but I get what you are saying. Personally, if I was cleaning house, the only guys on the current roster that would remain are Dubinsky, Callahan, Gaborik, Richards, Prust, Boyle, Stepan, Anisimov(maybe), McDonagh, Sauer, Erixon, Del Zotto, and Lundqvist.(I omitted Staal because he is not in the lineup and who knows...maybe when he does come back moving him while his value is still high is the right move, as we all know, many a career has been cut short by post concussion syndrome.)

This is going to be a long winter. This team is gutless. Aside from 4 or 5 guys this team is worth a bag of used practice pucks. I still say Torts needs to go.
I hate to harp on it because I know he's not THE answer and some of you dont agree but I liked this team a lot better when Avery was playing and playing his game. This team had an identity with Orr and Avery. I blame Torts for Orr leaving and you all know how I feel about what he did to Avery. Look at the Flyers, even when they sucked they always were a nightmare to play. You never new what was going to happen. Everybody hates going to Philly to play them. Nobody fears the Rangers. Nobody even cares about playing against them. In fact I'm sure most teams like going to NY to play them. They have a good chance at getting a road victory and get to sight see in the big apple. |

I have nothing against Staal but he can go as well. He has not lived up to expectations to say the least. To me he's a soft player. Soft players are ok if they are scoring a lot of points but if your not a big point guy on D your opponent better fear going into the corners when you're on the ice and that aint happening either.
