response to big hits are reactionary, anybody looking up at the scoreboard before making a decision as to act or not should just skate to the bench. Notice how quick Erskine got in there, I'm guessing he does the same thing regardless of the score in a meaningless game in November.

This is just another example though of a guy laying someone out with a clean hit and it leading to a fight, not trying complaining, we need all the fights we can get at this point. but its not surprising why so many hit 'n' run, they don't wanna get jumped. Wish it would have been a more formidable opponent than Bracken Kearns.

Love Kearns's story, but he got filled in by Erskine there, who once again swinging with ful intent to commit murder - I like that, will make players think twice about messing with some of the Caps players - at least when Erskine is on the ice. Nice hit though.
