It was fitting. He was sitting in the W position, since his last begins with W. My grandson who has Cerebral Palsy sits that way alot. Pretty common for kids with CP.

McGinn was the only one really throwing in the scrap with Ballard, although I didn't see much land clean, but you can still give it to McGinn for activity.

Winchester really waded into that punch from Volpatti and got dropped. TKO win for Volpatti.

And Fedoruk-Vandermeer looked like a draw to me. I'm still rooting for Fedoruk to somehow make this Vancouver team.

He should make it. He is a good player and can score and set up goals at times. Plus he would be a good fit for a team that lost one of their tough guys when Rick Rypien passed away.

He's not trying out for the Jets though.

Other teams can still sign him if he doesn't get a contract smartass.

After watching this I can see how fridge didn't make the team. I watched the clip a few times just to see Fedoruks actions and he is still afraid to open up. Vandy has the exp no doubt but he doesn't have the ko power that other guys have. If fridge cant open up more and keep his head up against vandy, then he doesn't deserve to make the team. He did not impress me once this preseason and I have been a fan of his since he was on Philly(the first time) but I see why he got cut. I don't fault him for being hesitant though. Think about it, after being ko'd so many times in the past, I see why. I think he just needs to keep involved with hockey, but under a different aspect like coaching or the front office of some sorts...

Good luck fridge...

Rypien was a Jet when he passed away, not a Canuck... You missed the sarcasm.

It was pretty fun/obvious fridge and vandermeer were going to to. glad i got to see it in person.

Winchester KO was bad, people were silent. I didnt mind even though hes a shark, better than no fight at all.

Watch Volpatti's legs as he throws the punch. He kneed Winchester in the crotch, which certainly explains why he crumples down into such an uncomfortable position.
