Vancouver at Calgary 12/27/09

Kevin Bieksa vs Eric Nystrom

Watched it online, after a collision behind the net, the gloves flew off & both guys landed many punches, Bieksa early, then Nystrom late, & the officials stepped in when Bieksa's jersey got over his head. Good spirited bout, I'd call a draw.

It's 5-1 Vancouver, so I would expect more as all the tough guys are playing.

Vote: Tanner Glass vs Brandon Prust Dec 27, 2009

2 good fights, hopefully more to follow.

Glass got a game misconduct for tie-down.

No he didn't. Why on earth would Tanner Glass not be tied down? He left cuz there was less than 5 minutes left.

Bieksa Vs Nystrom in a very good bout. Bieksa looked to be in control on a few occasions but Nystrom hung in there and would mount a comeback. Hard fight to call only seeing one time but a good one.

Prust just beat Glass in a decent fight....

Wondering why these players aren't getting the match penalty for throwing Souray forearms?

Tuned in just as the Prust Glass fight started... how many times has Hordichuck turned down McG?

So his jersey just magically comes loose?

The feed I am watching and boxscores both say he is done for the night.

Not sure I only saw them on the ice once together in the first and they had a few words after the whistle.

2 great fights...

Going to say draw on the first and win Prust on the second. But that might have been a draw as well. Have to see the replay.

I'm watching both, Canucks-Flames & Heat-Moose games. Both are blowouts for the Canucks teams, but so far, I haven't seen a fight in the Heat game.

He is gone for the game. Obviously wasn't tied down properly or not at all.

mcgrattan has only had 2 shifts for 0:54 ice time... Hordichuk has 4:50 of ice time... Hordi doesn't need to fight if his team is winning 5-1, unless someone makes a dirty hit or jumps him....

Do any of you actually wonder what goes on out there on the ice?

I see this all the time on this website, the proverbial pot stirring statement-

"so and so just turned down so and so"

How the fock do you know? Are they miked up right now? Did McGrattan ask him to fight or how his sick mother is doing? Maybe he asked him to go out for a beer after the game? Or to a titty bar? Maybe he asked him if he knew a good jock itch cream to use?

Please, stop with that crap, you're not there, you can't hear them, and you can't read lips well enough on the boob tube to know what they're talking about. sheeeeeesh!
