Regehr with the EDGe, being more aggressor.

sorry, can't really call that when you have a zebra all over you before anything really big is thrown. Why did they step in so bloody early again?

I like to see this sort of thing in a game between divisional rivals. With just a few seconds left and his team winning, Regehr steps up with a big hit on a Sedin. That's bound to cause some fireworks and intensify animosity between the teams.

pyatt went after regehr, for the hit on sedin , and i watched the camera angle coming straight down the boards, into the corner , where it looked like both guys were actually throwing punches

not a lot, but this scrap had more than just face washes and " wait til next time"

not enough footage for me to decide a winner , tho

the more pyatt shakes off his gentle giant routine, the better for my Nux

They got FMs for that? That was a really boring game to watch... I was disappointed.

I like Robyn Regeher, he's equal opportunity when it comes to throwing those huge hits. Any time of game, on any player, doesn't matter if its one of the Sedins or George Parros, Regeher will drill you with a hard hit. That Calgary blueline is one of the biggest and toughest in the league when you think about it - Regehr, Phaneuf, Sarich, Vandermeer (when healthy), and Aucoin are all big boys that play a physical game. They should be contending for a Stanley Cup with a backline like that.

Good move by Pyatt here too as he went right in there, threw the Chicken Swede out of the way, and went right after Regehr to hold him accountable for the big hit - Thats what hockey is all about. The only thing wrong with this picture was that the zebras got in there way too quickly because they didn't want any of the poor Canadians in the crowd, who paid probably upwards of 70 Bucks for a seat, to actually enjoy a hockey fight.

I don't know about "Chicken Swede". Sedin got up and wanted at Regehr. But Pyatt got to him first.

Of course, Regehr would've destroyed Sedin though...

Not nearly enough good footage to make a decision.

I was watching this waiting for fireworks that never came ....

Quick question : Sedin's vs Kotsysin's (sp ?) - who wins ?

LOL. Who wins? Who cares? None of these speed bags do much with the gloves off.

Kostitsyns. Andrei is too dirty and would use his stick as a weapon. Sergei is a young kid but he isn't afraid to mix it up, he's just terrible as a fighter. Plays physical though, and will hit.

I've never seen the Sedin's in a situation where they actually dropped their gloves and tried to fight in their entire time in the NHL.
