Great fight though, I'd say win to Weisse for some better shots landed but wouldn't argue with a draw. Good stuff.

Lucic hopped over the boards on the line change and for whatever reason was getting off the ice when Thornton started up with Burrows. I am not sure why he would go off the ice but he had one skate on the ice and one off the ice.

Lucic was coming on the ice for a line change as the rest of his line (horton and krecji) were on the ice. Thornton was on his way off the ice and changed his mind as he decided to attack Burrows.

Another note. Burrows was on the ice. As was the Sedin twins. So who is the forward that doesnt belong. Dale Weise. When Daniel Sedin sees Weise is on the ice, he jumps onto the bench.

What Weise did was EXACTLY what Lucic did. Got caught in a change.

This call is total BS and the hopefull Shanahan sees this.

Marchand thou is fu**ed I think LOL.

Silly me, he plays for Boston, he won't be suspended.

Best scrap for Weise in a Canucks jersey - the way he turned down Thornton kind of tarnishes the moment, but still, that was a great fight. Looked like Weise had a bit more gas left in the tank at the end, and its tough to tell from the Sportsnet feed, but I think he landed the better blow, though Horton got some licks in too. First time I actually kind of want to see the NESN feed to see a different angle and a better shot. But I've been waiting all year to say this - even though it was close - win to Weise, even if it was a narrow win. Its just too bad he bitched out Thornton like that...

Lapierre did much better against Campbell than I thought he would, and it went longer than I would have guessed, but for the most part a nothing fight with no damage done. Campbell should have wiped the floor with him, but that was a draw.
The big deal is that they have six men on the ice actively involved in a play for a good, what you observed, 3 seconds and nothing was called. Lucic had one foot on the ice and one foot off and he gets called. I'll go along with the call on Lucic...he joined the fight...but why no call for six men on the ice?

watch it again looch was going to the bench and never entered it so I don't think he will be suspended, he didn't come off the bench

Who would have thought, two fights in the game and Canucks didn't lose either one. Great game for the Canucks and bit of exercising of demons in the Garden.
