This is why Tucker is so awesome. He doesnt do a Belak and hide his face away, he ****ing takes what the other guy dishes out without care or fear.

Tucker also throws to hurt.

Tucker, you ****ing rule man. The guy is so damn small yet plays like he's got the size of a HW. If he were that size, the league would be in trouble.

Good tilt by the pair of them. Ruutuu with the win. Alot of people don't seem to know that Ruutuu can fight but when he was out west in Vancouver he done well for himself in his fights.

Slowed up for me to.

So who else A) doesnt believe the numbers posted by the Pens as far as punches thrown or 2) even understand why a proffesional studio puts up boxing stats in an NHL game? Tale of the tape ok, whats next after each fight the announcers will judge the fight like us? At what point do you seperate HF.com and hockey?

Definately a great fight. Pretty even exchange until after the second tie up. Then Ruutu opened up on him. Man he landed a lot of good punches towards the end.

I heard the mention of HF.com and chuckled personally. Glad to see you guys getting some props out of the bigs.

The reference to the slow down could be because of the amount of people in this particular thread, refreshing the page, but I could be wrong.

Belak fights players that can end your career with a solid shot, of course he doesn't go out looking to get drilled hard, that's the life of a heavyweight.

Agreed on Tucker, he's one of the smallest in the league, and pound for pound one of the toughest, given he loses most his fights due to the size factor.

I don't think you guys aren't giving Tucker enough credit here. He was REALLY taking those shots HARD, and not turning away! At one point i thought for sure someone was going down, but no, they stayed up and threw em. Great fight, and the W goes to Ruutu but still, Tucker didn't do bad at all.

agreed, the replay showed his head snapping back a good 3 or 4 times, he could easily have been dropped.

he's a tough little bastard for sure.
