Prust is not the most exciting fighter, but you'd be hard pressed to find guys on this site who don't respect him. This is a guy who stands up for his teammates and will fight anybody despite his small stature (about 6 feet, 190 pounds). He even took on Big Mac after an enormous hit on Dustin Boyd back when he was in Calgary.

Not only does he defend his teammates, but he has established himself as a very competent penalty killer and I believe contributed 13 goals and 16 assists for 29 points last season. He is severely underpaid at 550,000 and will get a nice raise from the Rangers in the offseason.

Not sure how you could be a hockey fight fan and not respect this guy.

Dion may not fight much anymore, but's he's still the best hitter in the league!
HOLY SMOKES!!!! WHAT A HIT!!! I missed that last night.
Notice, albeit the hit was CLEAN, none of the Rags came to confront him. Not even Sean "Bitch Ass" Avery. Rags are getting light after the loss of Boogaard (Rest his Soul) and Prust can't be expected to do everything. Need to get Deveaux back up. He is a good player. And Avery looses more then anyone and then Cheap Shots ya later on to take out his frustration of being the worst player to ever lace up. Hell I would rather see Darius Kasperitus come back then Avery.

Win Rosie!!

You're also forgetting that they did sign another heavy in Michael Rupp. He's currently on IR, but when he gets back their lineup will get a lot of toughness back.

Win/edge Rosehill.

Talk about embarrassing yourself. You may be up for idiot quote of the month . To even make a statement like that on this site is ridiculous, I really hope and pray some of the new guys on Hockeyfights are not in your mold but it seems a lot are. Sort of the equivalent of what Hockey is now compared to back when. Astonishing how ignorant some of you are.

Wow your as bad as Big Punisher. Yeah would have been a great Idea to avenge that hit with the Rags down 3-2 after coming back from 3-0 late in the 3rd. Have you no hockey sense at all. They have Rupp who will be back in a few weeks and then when we play the leafs Again I am sure that hit as well as Shenns will be addressed but you would know that if you had an inkling of knowledge about hockey and by the way Avery is like 40-20-20 over his career, yep worst ever

I don't see how you could explain taking a penalty to avenge a clean hit with 5 minutes left in the game. That is hockey and you just have to take it. It doesn't take an enforcer to stop a hit like that. All you need is a sharpie so you could write "Keep your head up, especially when Phaneuf is on the ice" in the lockerroom before the game.

I think Schenn fed off that and the one about 30 seconds later was almost as good. I can't believe that whoever uploaded that clip didn't keep it rolling another half minute.

news to me that Prust loses all of his fights. I love the guy. Fights with honor, stands up for his teammates, is a good hockey player, and goes up and down in classes without picking spots.

the only thing I don't like about him is the fact that he has to defend Sean Avery.

I'd love to have him on the Flyers.

As has been said, Prust might not be the most exciting fighter or the biggest puncher but he's very good and very willing. Certainly not the type of guy who should be getting scorned on a hockey fight site.

And that Phaneuf hit was awesome. It was almost like he passed it to him so he could crush him.
