C'mon. Kaleta didn't "almost get his neck broke". In fact, Ruff said in his post game remarks that he went to the hospital as a precaution. A bit melodramatic there, Shaud! Kaleta has thrown more than a few hits like that in his career- what comes around goes around. While I agree about the Bettman package repeal, some penalties are worth taking. Sticking up for your teammates is usually okay with the coach. The big question is why it was Weber? I didn't watch the game, but according to Peters Scott was on the ice too? But he was "looking the other way"??? Gimme a break. I have to say... I'm not at all impressed with Scott. He's too timid. If he doesn't take care if business on Thursday, I will completely write him off. ID rather have a guy like Gillies than a big timid oaf.

You brought about good points Mr. Schitt, however, I don't think I'm overreacting to the hit. Yes, Kaleta has thrown those types of hits but that doesn't mean that when he's the victim it should be acceptable. It's sickening when I read stuff like "that turtler/scum/pest deserved it" like wow, he may not be the cleanest player but nobody deserves to be hit like that. He's had a history of neck problems so this could be a serious injury. I have not heard anything. Schitt you don't think there should be a fine or suspension to Brown? Just curious.

I also looking forward for Scott to step up on Thursday.

Brown should be both applauded and suspended. For 5 minutes.

He was.

Time to move on.

Win Brown.

Weber sucks, but he is a good teammate.
