Love seeing 2 rugged defensemen squaring off as a result of the play.

I was really impressed by Fraser in this scrap. He didn't look that great vs MacDermid a few weeks ago, but he looked like a different fighter here. A solid barrage of jabs, hooks, and body shots kept McQuaid on the defensive. I was impressed that McQuaid took those shots so well and even managed to land a couple odd hooks of his own during the onslaught, but he was definitely a bit outclassed by Fraser.

I wish we could have seen something develop out of the McQuaid-Orr-Thornton debacle in the 3rd period. I had a few beers in me at the time so I don't remember exactly what happened, but If I recall correctly it looked like McQuaid hit a Leaf, Orr came in gloves off ready to go, and before McQuaid even had a chance to engage, Thorts came in to take on Orr himself. Unfortunately, the linesmen ****ing ruined that one.

where were orr and Mclaren?? they all looked disinterested last night. Neither went looking for thornton, looch , or Chara.. Boychuk even grenn lighted someone at center ice with no response... I expected boston to be quiet since they were playing the leafs and never really start crap unless they go down a couple of goals, however the laughs never get the lead against us...

Win Fraser, really good fight, no doubts about McQuaid being able to hang with him. Still have a ways to go, Boston is the measuring stick for us, but at least it was only a loss by a goal, well empty netter too. The tougher team lost, the better team won.

The first one is on a "vacation" from what I've heard. Not sure if its permanent.

Fraser with the win in this good fight. Funny how the Bruins homers are no where to be seen when one of their boys gets beat up. What a bunch of pussies.

Good battle between two very tough customers. McQuaid came back at the end, but Fraser wins on points.

I see that the usual suspects are in here trolling like McQuaid got demolished or something. Pure jealousy. Pretty funny that these same guys are fans of two of the softest teams in the NHL - Philly and TB. At least Toronto and Boston play the game the right way.

As already expected before the game, Orr fought the night before as did McLaren who recieved 8 stitches from the DD fight, and Thornton fought the game before awell. Not too many of us were expecting much from those three. It was up to both McQuaid and Fraser to stand in for their boys, and they did. Like clockwork.

....I guess you missed the roughing call on Orr when his gloves were off looking for any takers.

Piss on a Leafs win last night, I have the Bruins winning the Cup again. I just wanted to see a fight, and we got a dandy.

Go get em smash. 20 bruno's down the hatch. Orr was trying to jump start the Leafs at the end, threw a wicked hit on Soup, dropped the gloves and threw a punch at McQuaid even before McQuaid could react. Thorts skated right in though, before things got nasty. Good game though, B's needed a bounce back win after Tuesday's embarrassment in Washington. Philly tomorrow, looking forward to it.
