These 2 go off the faceoff and start throwing solid shots. Thornton seemed to get a few good early on and then Orr responded with some of his own. DRAW and hopefully a round two. Thornton skated over to Orr in warmup and said, You in? and Orr said Yup!!

draw in a decent scrap. orr looked maybe a bit hesitant to get hit but who could blame him in his first fight back. hopefully there will be more.

A typical Thornton fight with not much landing. Orr landed two short rights and Thornton landed one nice one to the temple. Clear draw.

Leafs are one of few teams that can hold there own in toughness vs the Bruins.

I think Orr landed the best 2 punches of the fight with 2 clean short-shots to Shawns face, plus a nice body shot. If there were an edge, I think it goes Orr's way. But the typical linesmen came in when the sweater went over Colt's head, although Orr's always game even if he can't see.

Solid draw in a quick one.

No damage done really. Both have fresh fists still, so I think we might see Round2 tonight. Especially if the Bruins keep things up, Orr and Rosie might have to go hunting for trouble in this one.

Nice to see two really good tough guys doing their jobs even if the fight was not a punch in the face contest. Thornton is very smart figher and knew he had to tie Orr up early in which he did. Orr was a bit more patient and didd' nt just throw for the sake of throwing. Went about how I expected it with both landing a few. Draw....

Thornton landed the best shot of the fight, whereas Orr seemed to have have outlanded Thronton by a very narrow margin, but with no punches of any real significance. Draw.

Bruins desperately needed Thornton to give them a spark tonight, and he certainly has. He's such an important member of this team. Other NHL clubs should realize that enforcers can actually set the tone and change games.

After watching the replay Thornton did land the best punch not enough for an edge though

What was Thornton thinking getting into a fight, he could have cost the Bruins 2 points. lol

Being serious though, Solid Draw in a pretty good scrap, linesman kind of bailed Orr out at the end as it looked like Thornton was about to start teeing off with the jersey over Orr's head. I still wish the B's never let him go.

To the whiners whining about what the Bruins were doing vs. Carolina: See how the Bruins are playing tonight? Well there's your reasoning behind it. Fighting changes the way a team plays, usually for the better. Go B's!!!!!!!!!!

I think Thornton pulled Orr's sweater to stop the fight. He did the same thing last year. Smart move because he cannot afford to open up against Orr.

Been waiting a long time to see Orr back in action. Good starter fight for him.
