Kubina upends a Yote entering the zone and Doan challenges. Slow start with a lot of hugging then Doan lands a good left. Kubina starts firing rights and lands a few. Doan throws another left and they start to fall along the boards. Kubina throws a few on the way down, and on the ice.

Kubina got 2 for kneeing, 5 for fighting.

Edge Kubina for landing more and getting a few in under that massive windshield. If Doan is gonna play gritty he needs to loose the fuking windshield.

I was also under the impression if you instigate with a visor itʻs an extra 2. Refs these days are absolute idiots.

Doan landed 3 nice blows,particularly his first one was beauty.
After that Kubina tok over throwing 3-4 blows but only landing 2.
Doan fired back one nice right-hand landing it surely.
Doan landed one nice one before they goes down where Kubina took over a bit.
NO WINNer in my book, okay tilt.

But DOan is still very good player which i likes.
Phoenix Captain and showing the example how should to play the game.
He had suspension(3game) and coming back with one fight, quite impressive.

why are there no heavies on TB roster beats me. do the really want to see stamkos( or insert any of their skill players here) be cheapshotted to IR?

also for phoenix, their captain and star performer should not be the player that has to fight.. why wasnt biznasty dressed? he is a good enforcer and knows what to do,play him ffs

i thought the knee-on-knee hit by Kubina looked mostly accidental, but it was nice to see Doan jump in to defend his teammate after the dangerous hit. Kubina looked like he may have landed a couple shots despite Doan's visor, I'd give Kubina the edge.

Itʻs already been happening, The bolts are getting run every game and have a large chunk of players on the IR already.

I though the extra two was only ever given if the fight was of a draw and the player had a chance to take it off?

Guys can argue all they want about the merits of fighting a guy after a hard hit, but whenever a guy sticks his knee out, accidental or not, you gotta make him own up for it - I HATE knee on knee hits. Good for Doan for doing the right thing.
