Second straight fight for Barch blocking with the face. Don't know how you keep doing that.

I feel like Krys Barch is a good fighter, but he hasnt won a scrap in awhile.

Cam Janssen also in for NJ. Good potential.
They showed a close-up of Barch in last night's game, and he already looked chewed up.

Ah, thanks. Looks like he went through a windshield.

They are not even comparable really. Chris Dingman fought in the NHL when the league was stacked with tough guy's compared to now, and Dingman fought all the best, and a few all time greats numerous times. PCL doesn't, and I don't think ever will have the card Dingman has. Something about how PCL fights is odd. How he grapples with guy's, his hold on there jersey's, how he throws punches... If he could get set up with a more traditional style of fighting, and his size, and strength I think he could make a bit more of a dent in the NHL.

I think he will. He's still very young, pretty defensive, but is starting to come out of his shell. I think he will steadily improve. He obviously isn't shy about it since he has 3 fights in his last 3 games, I am just grateful that they are giving him the opportunity and he is earning the chance to stay. I just hope they don't ditch him when Malone returns.

One more heavyweight in the NHL is a good thing.

Another note, the announcers said he weighs 234. That's freakin linebacker size. He is apparently a really happy, go lucky kid who is loving his time in the NHL.

No call on Clarkson/Aulie. Shouldn't have been majors.

First one pretty damn close. Edge Labrie for landing a few decent punches.

Clarkson/Aulie not even a fight.

Narrow Win for Labrie, but it wasn't as lopsided as people are making the fight out to be. Krys Barch's 2013 winless streak continues.

Keith Aulie is a fake tough guy. He'll throw big hits and play chippy, but when his number is called he doesn't want to back up his chippy play by dropping the gloves.

I'm starting to get the feeling that people don't like Aulie.

I certainly don't think he is a fighter, by any means, but he plays a tough, chippy game and when you don't back it up with a fight, I'm sure that annoys the piss out of people and it does annoy me too. Would like to see him fight a bit more. Obviously Clarkson didn't give him the chance last night but I don't think Aulie would have squared off with him and ditch the bucket but I could be wrong.
