Win Ference, Win Lucic

Who was arguing in the Possible fights thread that Aulie was a spotpicker and Ference wasn't

Because Aulie isn't known as a scrappy guy/fighter he is a big boy but he is there to play. Ference definitely is known as a scrappy guy/fighter who hits a lot and runs his mouth and his middle finger to the Montreal crowd was classic.

Win looch. Good to see looch deciding to leave the cement at home finally. Him firing in the playoffs can only be good for the B's. think aulie was thankful for his visor after that one...

Win Ferrence

Win Lucic.. But not by much, seems he wanted that one to end and took the takedown.

I did. I stand by that, Aulie picked a fight with Lucic at the end of his shift with his visor on and still got pounded.

Aulie wasn't out there to "pick a fight." He got ran and didn't like it, I don't think it mattered who it was, a fresh Lucic, tired Lucic, or anyone, he probably would have done the same thing.

How can you be a spot picker by fighting Lucic who has 10x more experience than him??? What??

Seemed to be a mutual fight... Don't think Aulie was clocking Lucic's shift.
Pretty sad when Lucic fans are calling Aulie a spot picker.

Yeah Evander Kane just went to fight Orr, but Orr was out there for 40 seconds so Kane's a spot picker. That scenario is the same logic you are telling me...

I'll give Aulie credit for waking Lucic up, which has seemed impossible all season.

I still think Aulie is a fake "tough guy", I've seen him play before plenty of times and he reminds me of Mike Komisarek in some ways.

I don't think so. He is physical and big, but he doesn't do the kind of sh** Komisarek or Phaneuf does. I've never seen him take a huge run at someone like the Goof, and never see him instagate and slash and act like an idiot like Komisarek. The guy averages 3 fights a year, and almost every single one is heat of the moment deal.

His fight card consists of Fraser, Lucic, Clarkson, Foligno this year, and in the AHL he has fought Fitzy, Deveux, Selleck previously.
