On the live viewing I'd call it a draw or slight edge to Janssen.
I'll have to see it again. I did see Asham come back at the end a bit
after being knocked down. Either way, decent scrap. Hopefully we'll
have some more in this one.

First time Asham went down the punch never hit anything but the top of the helmet but it was more of a balance issue from Asham throwing at the same time and missing. Although the punch did hit him in the side of the helmet he was going down already due to other circumstances.
Second time he went down was a little different. Look like Asham looked to duck out of the way of the punch and Cam caught him ducking and bounced one off the front of the helmet/forehead.

As for the exchange at the end. Ashams first big punch he threw did not hit Cam. The second punch that sent Cam down did hit but not solid. Cam was off balance and stumbling when Asham threw the punch which is what was sending Cam down but Asham threw the punch at just the right time so on first views it will appear as if it sent him down hard. The punch hit but Ashams arm was fully extended and his hand barely reached Cam's face.

Good spirited fight between these two. After viewing it a few times now I'll call this fight a Draw or possibly slight edge Jannsen. Of course we'll see this turning in to a 3 knockdown fight and Win Jannsen by two TKO's but my PVR and Slow Mo doesn't lie to me when I re watched this fight now several times.

Great scrap between Asham and Janssen. Janssen early and Asham late. I'll call it a draw. Hope those two go again. Arron fights better when the fight is along the boards or in the corner, seems to have some troubles when it's in open ice.

Looked like Janssen's punch on the first knockdown just grazed Asham at best, but then the second one hit nothing but helmet and put him momentarily down again. Maybe the first one did a little bit of damage, or maybe the second one caught his helmet just right, cause I think the 2nd shot actually did put him down (briefly). Only saw it live though so I could be mistaken. Edge Janssen.

Cam Janssen vs Arron Asham

Very good fight. Gotta give the win to Janssen though for two huge punches that brought Asham down twice. Asham did a helluva job getting back up twice and throwing and knocking Janssen down at the end. Great fight to start the night. Here's a picture from the fight I took off my TV.

What a BS call.

Tkachuk hits Carcillo into the boards in the Blues zone from behind, and they give Carcillo a diving call as well as a boarding for Tkachuk.

What a joke.

The refs have been a joke the entire game. That hit didn't warrant a penalty in the first place. Carcillo put himself in a stupid position. This game is getting good though.

Not bad for a game with one fight. Theres a little hatred out there. however, I would say the fights are done for the night.

If the Flyers can get a quick goal in the third, Janssen and co. will look to start something. Hopefully Asham and Janssen go again. Maybe Emery goes after him for sticking him towards the end of the third. That would be the sh!t!!!!

If I know Murray like I think I do. You will see listen if any Janssen in the third. It's a shame. Look to see Pauly Kariya and the gang floating around instead.
