Shelley's face has been mashed up for the last 3 fights he's been in. Very rarely is their not a cut/bruise on Shelley's face.

Did anyone else see Shelley get pissed when McGrattan taunted the crowd? I would not be suprised if we see them go again.

Jody Shelley v Brian McGrattan

Finally we get to see what we've been waiting for. Off the draw they agree to go, they come together, hold each other at arm's length and exchange jersey jabs with overhand rights. Shelley seeming to come up short in the exchange while Gratts is making way. Finally Gratts lands a bomb of a right which seems to open up Shelley. Gratts continues to land the better of the overhand rights, then they come in closer and Shelley seems to tag him with a left and the fight ends.

Good left by Shellet at the end, but Edge to Gratts for the bomb of a right early on.

Gratts then does some showboating following the fight, pumping up the crowd and also wiping his hands clean, which pisses Shelley off and seems to lead to the next bout:

Brad Staubitz v Brandon Prust

They meet deep in the zone, get in close early and tie each other up, finally Prust pulls away and does his best to throw his rights, but most come up short until they finally go down.

Draw. Nothing landed.

He's Baaaaaackkkkk.. Solid win in control of pretty much the entire fight. Shelley is a tough dude but man he gets marked up easily. Hard to tell how many really landed but at least a few solid shots did land. Boy the coyotes are skating around a couple inches taller tonite.

Staubitz and Prust are going and it looked mostly like a grappling much.

McGrattan only needs one fight and he's back in the top 10..... Boy he diddn't look like he hasn't fought in a year........

This game has been worth stayinng up for, but now with that Sharks goal, the rough stuff may take a back seat and less hope for a round 2.

Gratts looked awesome. That dude is no joke.

Prusty and Staubs started as a grapple so it couldnt really get open.

Brian McGrattan vs. Jody Shelley
Finally the big boys have a go. Both guys landing a couple of decent shots. Gratts might have cut Shelley over the eye with a punch as he was showboating after and pointing it out to him. Shelley got a good left it seemed at the end. Draw/maybe slight edge McGrattan

Brandon Prust vs. Brad Staubitz
Not much chuckin' in this one but Prust looked to get in a couple. Win Prust

Yeah I don't think anyone can under-rate the fighting on the Sharks now.

Blake/Winnik - Draw, shouldn't even been considered a fight

McGrattan/Shelley - Draw, McGrattan must still be using substances. He showed up Shelley after the fight because Shelley was bleeding from the same place that has been cut for like 4 games NOW. Big Wow Brian.

Prust/Staubitz - Draw, 2 guys that can both open it up and throw, throw nothing in this one.

Milan Michalek of all people just dropped Upshall with a flurry of gloved ones.

GOY candidate

I hear ya. You think that's a wrap for the fighting?

I'm ready to shut it down for the night myself. But the drama McGratts did after his fight gives me a lil hope for a Round 2.

Anyone else think Gratts was a little weasel after his first fight in ages?
