At this point of the season there isn't much hope for anything fight wise. Some teams are already out of the playoffs and have nothing to play for, some teams are on the bubble and are desperate for points and a few others have clinched a spot and are just riding out the last few games. Its a shame because the Toronto / Calgary game would have had the best potential tonight. Plus there are several other matchups that may have produced.

No predictions here. At this point I'll take what ever we can get.

Colton Orr vs Brian McGrattan Round6
These two haven't fought for 4 years and 4 months, when Orr smashed Brian's face in, leaving him all bloodied with a crooked nose. They've had 5 fights in their career with all 5 being absolute wars, with one winning Fight of the Year. McGrattan with 2 wins, Orr with the other win with 2 going for incredible draws in absolute slugfests.

They played earlier this season which was their first time vs each other in a couple years, but McLaren took the fight a minute and a half into the game.

This time around, Calgary has Westgarth aswell while the Leafs don't have McLaren now. The Flames are apparently going with some hotshot youngster Bryce Van Brabant tonight on the 4th line, big checker type. Westgarth and McGrattan are both projected to be IN tonight! Brian on the 3rd line. Paul Ranger is apparently OUT while Carter Ashton was sent down, so Orr HAS to be IN tonight!

Orr sitting at 98 PIM, McGrattan as 100 PIM.

This is the only fight I've wanted this season, don't April Fool us with a scratch!!!

After the poor season Orr is having it wouldn't mind seeing him pull double duty and go with both McGrattan and Westgarth tonight. But if he only goes with one i hope it's McGrattan. I kind of get annoyed seeing Westgarth taking fights away from McGrattan only to put up poor or average showings.

You do know Jerry D'Amigo was recalled and played in Orr's spot on Saturday right? Carlyle is trying everything he can do to make the playoffs and save his job. If that means playing D'Amigo over Orr again, he will. He's not the Randy Carlyle of old. I've begun to accept that and be more realistic with things. But of course I do want Orr in.

I do know that. Did you seriously expect Orr to play vs Detroit though? Colt was scratched vs them last week as well, but dressed vs the Habs, Flyers and Blues in between.

Carter Ashton was sent down the other day, this why D'Amingo was recalled, not because he's taking Orr's spot.

Flames have Westgarth and McGrattan in, Leafs aren't going without Orr, McLaren, Devane, Staubitz, Broll, etc.

Gleason and Clarkson would die on the ice if this were so.

McGrattan vs Orr has to happen. I wouldn't hold my breath though... Hopefully Westgarth stays away and lets Gratts scrap.

Orr has been looking for a tilt for a few games now.
