Decent tilt between Thorburn and McLaren... a little too much holding for my liking though. Really hope to see Orr go after Thorburn but that's wishful thinking. Orr decked someone from behind in the 1st (Stuart?) but nothing came of it.

I'll give the W to Thorburn based on damage alone, McLaren was leaking big time.

I thought when the leafs signed Komarov that he would be stirring up more sh**. I know he's leading the team in hits but he was apparently great at getting under peoples skin, just havn't seen it yet...

He's certainly toned down the dirtiness since his brief time with the Marlies but I've been happy with his play so far. He hits everything that moves and goes to the net harder than anybody else on the team. I still think he will start agitating more as the season goes on and he gets more comfortable in the NHL but right now it almost seems like he is scared of putting the team down a man. I think moving him to a line with Orr and McLaren/Brown will be good for him.

Edit- Just as I type this there was a big scrum involving Orr, McLaren and Komarov. Nothing came of it unfortunately.

Typical refs during a big scrum, picking the goon to send to the box. "Everyone is pushing and glove-punching.. hmmm lets pick Orr!"

White just jumped Ott after a hit. Ott had gone after Gionta earlier in the shift and didn't even get his gloves off. Four minutes for White and nothing for Ott where Buffalo scores instantly. I really hope someone kills Ott.

EDIT: Too bad White's getting dinged here because it probably means he sits next game. I love his willingness to go with everyone, but the penalties are going to get him some bench time.

Don't be suprised if we don't see Ryan White in a Habs jersey again this season. Friggin moron. I love the way he plays but you gotta use your head.

Well I've thought from day 1 he'd be better suited playing with Orr than f*cking Nazem Kadri... so hopefully we start to see more of that nasty side.

I like Komarov as a 4th liner, not a 2nd/3rd

He needs to man up and square up. Seriously, almost all of his "fights" consist of him jumping someone.

He definitely doesn't shy away from getting after people to send messages about protecting his teammates. He doesn't wait for the other party to be willing which might be a problem, but definitely gets the message across.
