That fight doesn't matter. We have to talk about the Habs/Bruins snoozefest with no fights.

Funny then that B's fans wanted Moen to fight when the Habs were ahead eh..

Bruins fans always making excuses yet still claim they have the baddest team in the league. If they were so tough why not just pound on Prust? They'd have even more momentum...could it be it's not that easy?

Has he really? Was more like a draw in my books. Aside from that, Quaider struggled with White who is about half a foot shorter. He's not that bad ass yet B's fans love to act like he is some beast.

Surprised Hordi's in tonight, shame the Stars are the softest team in the NHL.

I mentioned it earlier! Bordeleau is an exciting fighter, took care of Staubitz, as he should.

I'm not even sure if Prust really wanted to go, I think he was just trying to goad McQuaid into taking a penalty. It was just selective timing to "try" to pick a "fight". Both teams had all game to fight if they chose to, they just didn't. I though Prust and MacDermid were going to fight when MacDermid ran over Prust at center ice...but nothing happened. These games need both Thornton and White dressed to get fireworks.

He's probably Boston's 3rd or 4th best fighter and I'm sure the Habs are aware of that...hence he's usually the target of Montreal when it comes to the rough stuff.

Please show one example of Prust trying to goad an opponent into taking a penalty by pretending to challenge him. Prust issues challenges and proceeds to drop his gloves if a challenge is accepted. Same way it's been his whole career, the guy's fought the likes of MacIntyre and other top heavies.

He has also waited a while before dropping his gloves to get the extra 2 for the opponent at least once this year.

"stfu yohan, mcquaid was the guy acting tough earlier with moen, he wanted a fight then but not now when prust was trying to get him to go. "

mcquaid wanted to fight moen because montreal had all the momentum and mcquaid wanted to wake up his team...

moen declined (as he is supposed to => coach)

later prust wanted mcquaid because the momentum was on the bruins side... and mcquaid did the same (decline)

=> the coaches liked the actions from mcquaid, prust, moen...

fight fans didnīt like it....

Prust yanks mcquaid out of a scrum and tries to get him to go and all of the Bruins homers diss Prust.

"he's a coward"
"he would turtle"
"he's was gassed and didn't really want to fight"
"he's just trying to draw a penalty"
"he would lose anyway"

Comical, heaping loads of crap on one of the most courageous fighters in the league. Mcquaid's a spotpicker and wanted nothing to do with Prust, end of story.

I guess if Prust wanted to go, he would have dropped the gloves. Rather than bark about it, I like Prust but if you want it go get it.

I don't think Thornton is really a guy who provides a lot of "fireworks", a guy who'll fight anyone, sure. I think Marchant is more of a guy who would've gotten things going in this game

Prust needed to drop the gloves there if he wanted to really go... No way you can have the lead and drop them first. not that Prust wouldn't, but you never know, he does play for the Canadiens now.

Bruins games suck without Thornton.
