Prust and Lucic is pretty much already written up to happen.

Last time it was pretty one-sided. I'd rather see Prust go with McQuaid.

Milan Lucic and Brandon Prust have fought twice before, so I could definitely see a Round 3 happening tonight. It's Prust's first game as a Canadien vs the Bruins, so you know he'll want to make his mark. Adam McQuaid vs Ryan White is another fight I can see happening in that game. As well as MacDermid vs Moen. Should be fun to watch, as always.

I also think that Brad Staubitz pops his fighting cherry tonight against Cody McLeod.

AHh man those all seem like pretty big mismatches in the Bruins favour, but I could see any or all happening. Not sure if White is playing, he's been a healthy scratch for a couple games due to a slew of bad penalties.

I see Prust and MacDermid meeting up, as Lane wants to show that he can hang with the big boys and Pruster wants to keep some fire in this rivalry.

I can definitely see Prust vs Lucic because they've fought twice before. Also, McQuaid fought White last season and that was a pretty close scrap, so that matchup is a possibility if White is in the lineup.

As for MacDermid... I honestly don't see him as a legit heavyweight. He's similar to Adam McQuad in the sense that he's tall and skinny, and is probably better fit to take on middleweights, light-heavyweights, and smaller "heavyweights". For instance, he would get f*cking tuned up by guys like Orr, Scott, Bordeleau, etc.

Wonder if anyone targets p.k subban. Wouldnt be such a good rivalry without pk. Also chara never got his for the neck breaking. I always hope someone takes out the giant. Should be a great game. Even better without thorts, less for montreal to worry about, which means they'll be more likely to try and settle some scores.

With all the 'rivalry' advertising that NBC has done, this game better not be a dud.

That sure would be a fun experience to commentate. Just hope they all play on the history of the rivalry. Not just a bunch of video on the soft, small, rich players pushing & shoving of this generation.

I think andrew ference might find a dance partner, who ? I dunno

frankie515 02-06-2013 03:13 PM

Is White out for sure?

P.K. is always targeted when he plays Boston. Nathan Horton, Andrew Ference and Milan Lucic always seem to always get into it with Subban after whistles. However, the chances of anybody getting Subban to drop the gloves is slim to none.

I doubt anybody will do anything to Chara. That situation seems like water under the bridge at this point. They've had several chances at revenge since that incident and nobody from Montreal has even looked at Chara, never mind exacted any form of retribution.

Stuabitz will be in again but won't have any dance partners unless he fights Bordeleau (he won't). Obviously it'd be best if Rosehill or Leblond was up too but ah well :/ McLeod won't be interested unless he's running around.

Stars-Oilers won't be interesting, more so because of the Stars than the Oilers even.

Bruins-Canadiens might be something but uncertain dance partners, Prust vs. McQuaid or Ferrence?

At least Colorado and Boston have lots and Anaheim, Montreal and the Oilers have a bit of toughness, Dallas is ****ing horrible

The_Sheriff 02-06-2013 06:19 PM

No one (save a few) ever has a dance partner for Bordeleau....c'mon west get some heavies.
