On Flyers local feed here, they just played sound of Rinaldo, who's miked up, talking to the ref (Kelly?) when coming back out on ice for 2nd period. Rinaldo expressed concern, and the ref assured Rinaldo he did not hit Crombeen when he was down. So much for Pierre's Code whining.

I dont get all the whining about Rinaldo's code "violation." He hit Crombeen while he was on a knee, not on the ice. How many fights do you see a guy go to a knee and pop back up? If Rinaldo flat drops Crombeen, and then feeds him, thats one thing. But a when a guy goes to a knee, its usually a balance thing, not a probable concussion.

Tko win Rinaldo either way
