Richards and Dubi have a great history now carrying on to their new teams. Whats that number 4 between the two of them. Thats impressive for non fighters/skill guys.

And I'll also make the case for pre-emptive action. Last game he was harassing Giroux and trying to get him to fight. Maybe this game it was going to be a Erskine/Neal/Vitale/Malkin style flying elbow to the head. The Flyers had to draw a line under it all at some point.
I understand sending a message, but I'm not going to lie, I felt a little uneasy watching that fight. I think if Crombeen had done something really dirty (such as an elbow like Erskine did or something like the hit Raffi Torres had on Hossa) then you throw the code, rules, ethics, etc. out the window and bring the pain. But I just didn't like that last shot Crombeen got just for picking on Giroux.

I know it's a slippery slope because you want to protect your stars, but I just thought this one was a bit overkill.

The guy is a worrier, and that's a good thing cause we cant afford to have him miss any time.

Boll took a huge later run at Doughty but whiffed. Blue Jackets embarrassing the Kings physically right now. Clifford/Nolan/King have to answer and soon.

Crombeen got all that was coming to him. Rinaldo drew a line with that display. Now, who's man enough on the Tampa bench to go with him again tonight? They'll join BJ in the Quiet Room watching Sesame Street on mute. We'll see the rest of the way...

Sestito just scored! Damn.

I don't. Especially after the non-response (thanks in part to the refs, and part to Lavi) after the Simmonds elbow. Crombeen decided to go after Giroux, and if Giroux dropped his gloves Crombeen have no issues fighting him. That to me is not ok.

Since he did that, the only two acceptable outcomes, IMO, are someone seeks out and beats Crombeen bad (check), or someone goes after one of Tampa's star players...Preferably both, there are still two periods left.

Same here. Especially if Crombeen is badly concussed, which on first view appears possible. Hopefully he's ok so this doesn't feed the no-fighting lobby group...

Clune also scored for the Preds. Doubt he'll find a fight with Reaves scratched.
