And clearly I stated that was most certainly NOT the case in my previous posts. Which is why I want to know why Orr didn't retaliate.
Do you have any thoughts on it?

If you aren't implying that Orr is scared, then why is this such a sticking point for you? I feel like crap like that happens constantly and cameras just never pick it up....so anyways where are you going with this?

I didn't see/don't remember the incident you are talking about so I really have any thoughts on it. If I had to guess a reason why Orr didn't retaliate it would be that he didn't want to be selfish and put his team on the PK just because some 5'11 little twat of an agitator gave him a shot in an attempt to draw Orr into taking a dumb penalty.

My overall point is the only thing lopsided about that game was the score (which is a huge deal here recently). Big hits and everything else people here enjoy was pretty even. The Flyers would have been outgunned if the Leafs fourth line was looking to start fights, but they weren't out there doing that. And if people want to claim that they were, Rinaldo slapping Orr without repercussions is the prime evidence against it.

As he skated to the bench. Orr has never had issues taking penalties before, especially if a pest like Rinaldo just slapped him. The game was a blow out. It shocked me more than anything.
I get that you guys are stoked, you have every right to be, especially after the Montreal game. The Leafs 4th line is pretty sweet and they had a good game hockey wise as well. The coach supports it too which is always a huge plus. But save yourselves some grief later (when Orr or McLaren lose a fight, it happens) and tone down the over-zealousness and cockiness. Ask Bruins fans how it feels when the castle walls are crumbling down and all everyone is doing is rubbing it in your face.

That being said, keep in mind we have had nothing to really cheer about for years, even decades, and now that things are rolling and the team has some toughness finally, perhaps some chest puffing could be warranted. But all it takes is one game or one punch and right back down to earth everyone will be.

I certainly understand that, which is part of the reason why I'm trying to warn you guys about a future where every thread related to your team is reduced to flaming bullsh*t by legions of p*ssed off haters spinning everything into a negative and trolling.

That's fine. I'm sure every Leafs fan with an internet connection is used to that stuff by now.

I'm just enjoying it for as long as I can. The Leafs haven't been fun to watch since Domi, Belak, Perrott, Tucker, Corson, Marchment, and Roberts patrolled the ice. At one time we had to suffer through Jamal ****ing Mayers as our main scrapper plus an over-the-hill Brad May.

The Flyers have already been brought down to Earth, which is life with Lavy. No Heavyweight and no fighting orders must suck. You saw Carlyle keep Orr's line on after the icing, Lavy took his right off. You saw McGinn get drilled from behind, Rinaldo and Sestito didn't do anything. You saw Orr's line score and play on the PP as the Leafs won 5-2. Later-Schmlater, live in the now.

Was a great game. I wrote early how both teams were really throwing the body around and it led to a very fun game to watch for a game with no fights. It was clearly on the Flyers to start something when they went down big though and this Rinaldo glove slap was nothing to me chimp. I think I saw they play (about midway through the third) and the linesmen were there pretty quick. If Orr just starts beating on Rinaldo and Rinaldo doesn't fight back (like last night) the game could have gotten close very quick with a five minute major. Orr will laugh that off but do what Prust did? ...
