Actually he's played almost every game. He just doesn't look interested in fighting AT ALL.

Exactley... demote this bum to the AHL and bring a guy in that will bring some thunder and lightning in the lineup. Cane's need a energy guy to go out and bang and crash .. cause a disturbance and provide some sugar and spice!!

I remember seeing a sit down interview with Westgarth a couple years ago, and I remember my impression of the guy wasn't good. He came off as an extremely cocky dude who would only risk messing up his Hollywood looks if he absolutely had to.

That was my impression then, I wonder if I was right?

Hahaha what the ****??? Dude fought plenty in the AHL and is FAR from having "Hollywood looks".

Edit; that goes without saying; he's done nothing this year obviously.

Yeah Westgarth has been a huge disappointment so far. Hes declined every offer hes gotten and doesn't do anything to stir the pot, face wash, I don't even remember him hitting anything yet. The hurricanes gave up a lot to get him so they obviously intended on using him but hes done absolutely nothing when given the opportunity. Gleason has managed to find 2 fights so far so I don't think its the organization putting a leash on him, just doesn't look like he cares about playing hockey right now.

I dunno, I just found it funny that anybody would call him good looking. No offense or nothing.

LOL @ Red Wings fans (including myself) who are all over Tootoo right now. We've been deprived like a motherf*cker, haven't we?
Gotta be weird as f-ck for you to root for 22 now. It doesn't look right to me, but I still respect the guy.

Dude it's sooooooo weird. I thought I'd hate that dude forever after what he put the Wings through for all those years. Idk about other Wing fans, but I'm already lovin me some toots haha.

Possibly Westgarth vs. Neil round 2 but I doubt it, more because of that sniper Westgarth than Neil...

Nashville shi7 on him last year. I don't think people realize just how much he brought to that team. I watched most of his games and he'd make one little mistake and be sitting. Or they'd get a power play (often because of Tootoo) and he'd sit, or when they were killing a penalty he sat. Many times this would happen even when he was having a great game and he wouldn't be able to keep the momentum he had gained. Trotz just didn't seem to give the respect a guy like him deserved in my opinion. Not to mention sitting him for the drunken russians. Nashville lost a special player and I can't wait for his return to the old Gaylord.
