WGN radio had a really good interview with Scott in July during the Hawks convention.
He said it was tough to find willing combatants and that the only guy in the league he might have trouble with is Mac. He also stated his eagerness to fight him and see how it turns out.
The hosts asked him about Boogaard, he sounded a bit choked up and said he didn't want to talk about it too much.
I looked for the interview on WGN's archives but had no luck.

Going to Devils-Rangers tonight (Woooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!) and hopefully I'll get to see Janssen eat Prust tonight and maybe see Boulton and Rupp have a go. Hopefully one of either Janssen or Boulton (or even Clarkson) goes with Stu Bickel.

I wouldn't mind seeing Travis Zajac have his revenge fight against Dan Girardi either!

I've never heard that one. Although in the Boogaard documentary, Scott said he didn't sleep much because he was so nervous, excited, afraid, etc.

If it happens, I won't pick a side... Just want there to be a square and it be toe to toe. May the best fighter win.

i just want a clear winner so people are convinced one way or the other. no 'slight edge' bullshit.

obviously, i'll be pulling for Scott, but i don't really care. i want him to win so he gets some respect, but i want the Hawks to win way more, so whatever happens with fights, happens.

He skated with some regulars today, sort of like a game day skate.

Of course I would love to see it, but it's been a long time since that fight and I'm sure they've cooled down. Also they're two very bad fighters. I'm surprised Girardi beat Zajac even though Zajac never fights.
