Did not even see Chicago and Pitt, but lets be honest the chances of seeing that are as likely as seeing the second coming of christ.

caps05 - Michael Rupp is no longer injured. He played on Saturday and should play against the Devils.

Well, Prust will take on Clarkson, Janssen, or Boulton...have the Devils got anyone to fight Rupp? Maybe a few random scraps as well.

As for Mac vs. Scott, I do not have my hopes up. First of all, they both have to be dressed. That's by no means a guarantee for either player. If they are...I'd say there's a 50/50 chance.

Maybe McGrattan vs. Erskine

McCormick vs. Konopka

Staubitz vs. Jackman

Bissonette vs. Barch if Biz dresses. He didn't Saturday against the Rangers.

No, I think both will be in the lineup and that it will happen.

John Scott is not sleeping right now.

I don't think Scott is nervous...he's not the one with a top 3 spot on the line.

Oh yeah, just realized the Rangers might have Stu Bickel in on defense. The guy already has 8 scraps in the AHL this year. Maybe he'll look for his first NHL fight. He has a decent fight card too, most recently fought Matt Carkner.

It would be cool to see Barch and Biznasty, and Rupp and Janssen or Boults.

Any of those three you just mentioned could take on Rupp.

Obviously MacIntyre vs Scott is the big one everyone is eager to see, but they played against each other in the preseason and it didn't happen, so it's not a lock. I think Carcillo vs Asham would be decent.

McCormick vs Konopka almost seems like a lock. Wouldn't mind seeing Neil and Kassian or something too.

There is some potential for some fun fights tonight.

McGrattan - Erskine (Top 10 implications)
Prust - Janssen (LHW top 10's)
Rupp - Boulton (Top 10 implications?)
McCormick - Konopka
Mayers - Asham
Scott - MacIntyre (HW Title?)
Bissonnette - Barch (If Biz is playing this should be a lock)
Martin - Thorburn/Glass
Staubitz - Jackman

Agreed. Definitely Konopka vs. someone as he seems to be trying to lead the league in FM's again.... and he McCormick is the likely candidate especially since CM beat him a couple of weeks ago.

IMO Neil would maul Kassian, and Mindy would probably have a fit if he fights during the neutering process, but I'd rather see him against Smith or possibly Foligno - they are more his speed at this point IMO.

Who knows... Gaustad and Neil have a bit of history, but I think Neil would have to run Miller () to see that one again.... at any rate these teams seem to have some fireworks of one kind or another and if Neil and Kaleta (if he's in havent really been following them that closely lately) get to running around it may be entertaining.

EDIT: Gaustad is hurt? Kaleta is on IR i think....

The Sabres called up Marcus Foligno.... how about a brother fight ala the Primeaus?

Carcillo didn't make the trip to Pittsburgh with the team because of an upper body injury (many believe it is a concussion, though it's not official).

What do Pens fans think about Big Mac's chances of being in the lineup? From a Hawks fan, I see no reason why Scott shouldn't be in tonight. Completely ignoring the toughness of the opposing lineup argument (which should be enough in this case), his play has also earned him a chance to stick around. In his last two games: 2/3 of a gordie and 2nd star of the night against the Ducks and then was a +2 against Calgary. I see no reason why he shouldn't be dressed tonight.

Let's see if Mac wil be in. If he plays I think he and Scott have to go. Mac has very very politely asked some guys to go this year..... Maybe Scott and Engo go. Engelland "has the glovecuffs on this year" though. Especially now with all the injuries to their D. And Engo is not a HW. Rangers devils has some real potential tonight.
