Carkner's first of the year?

Unfortunately, Thornton has always had his number, up until one fight last year. Hoping for it, and more!

If Ottawa plays like they did Saturday (against Vancouver) against almost any other team in the league and there would have been a line brawl in the first period.

Agreed, if something dosent happen between the two toughest teams in the league who are division rivals there is no hope for this league.

Peter Chiarelli said on the radio this morning that Chara made the trip up North and is a game time decision. He said if a guy goes on a road trip there is a reason and could be good to go, Greg Campbell did not make the trip and is out.

I expect more than 1 fight tonight in the Bruins/Sens game...

Carkner vs Thornton
Lucic vs Neil
McQuaid vs Konopka
Horton vs Smith?

Hoping the Bruins were saving their energy for tonight...No fights vs the Kings was a major disappointment.... We need a Sens player to bump Thomas or set the tone or something...My B's have been very lethargic with the fight game so far. Marchand has as many majors as Lucic, McQuaid and Horton combined.

Sens/B's should be good, hard-hitting hockey.

However, if the game is close I honestly don't expect much fighting. The Sens are 1 point out of the playoffs, who'd have imagined it?

Hell, several times this season the Sens have scored 2-3 goals in the third period to tie things up or pull out a win, they never seem to consider themselves completely out of a game and play hard for 60 minutes.

Also, Sen's/Bs play each other a lot but there isn't the animosity of Sens/Leafs,Sens/Pens, Sens/Sabres.

Of course if things get violent it could be SPECTACULAR!

The Bruins seem to change their style depending on who they are playing and where, so the game might be tame. If that's the case I hope Carkner randomly mugs someone again like he did against Paille.

Sure it did, he started mugging Paille, and then the refs dragged him to the ice when they came to his rescue.

I'm not getting into another debate with the Looney Broons fans, but surely you can't be ok with Carkner mugging someone like Paille at the end of a blowout game like that?

I'm ok with the outcome of it, Paille got two good shots in - but i was mainly joking with my response.
