No I heard "all talk" John Scott from the press box during the game last year saying how Thornton wouldn't have the ball's to do what he did if he was in the line up and then the first oppurtunity he get's to back up his mouth in their first game against eachother, one of the only shift's Scott had at the beginning of the year by the way, behind the play Thornton skated out of position back almost to the goalie's crease, because Scott is slow as sh*t and was still back there even though the play was in the neutral zone, now the puck is in the neutral zone and Thornton skated behind the play back at scott, a guy like McGratta would have dropped the gloves immediately! or for that matter any of those guy's that you have behind #1 John Scott would have done the same, especially after saying what he said.
And you have John Scott as the number one fighter in the NHL?

He should havebeen going after Thornton!
I was waiting for it, looking forward to it all summer, marked it on the calendar, and I watched the first shift they were on the ice Thornton skated rt up to Scott and challenged him, anyone have that game recorded go ahead and post it. 1st shift for both guy's.
I was worried for Thornton (Almost as I alway's am when he fights lol) because Scott is supposed to be this big tough guy but to tell you the truth he hasnt proved anything to me on this level.
And I truely don't talk bad about many enforcers, I hope he proves me wrong.
He has the size and can throw but does he have the heart?
Its hilarious that you think this!!! Our Lightweight (CARCILLO) KO thornoton!!! The hawks dumped Thornton bc he was and is such a bad fighter.

I was at the game and Thornton said nothing. After the game he said that if the opportunity would have been there both of them were ready to go.

Read up before you make foolish comments. Otherwise you will just be a FOOL

I totally understand that is your opinion, I just can't believe that is your opinion. I am still laughing over the top five. Come on, seriously. Anyhow, doesn't matter much cause you know what they say about opinions...

Blues Hawks should be good second period. I AM GUARANTEEING THAT SCOTT GOES AND DESTROYS REAVES AFTER REAVES SPARED CARCILLO AND THAT ACTED LIKE HE WON THE HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE.

Stay tuned

DUUUUUUUUUUDE.......Your so confused! Show me what post I put John Scott as number one fighter in the league. Again I say, Did you hear Thorts issue the challenge? Doubtful. Not gonna waste anymore time on this post unless you can show me where I said Scott was number one.

McCormick got his eye busted open, stayed with it and finished it.... damn good fight. Winner? I don't do so well picking fight winners in close ones. draw? Lotta glancing blows. Glass got McCormick open with a right maybe a couple solid rights. he also might have hurt/broken his hand on McCormicks face lol. McCormick got a few in there. Lot of Glass' head. 1 upper cut landed, 1 good miss/forearm hit, then a nice pop to the face from McCormick which got Glass off balance. Big throws.

when are the jets gonna move Byfuglien up to forward? he doesn't do to well in defense...

Guess I shouldn't complain too much about Carcillo getting beat up...last year, there would be no fight after that hit.

Enjoying the little things

I never fixed anyone's quote for them before, im glad to be of service.

You guy's are just being ridiculous, NOONE has Scott at number one besides three Chicago fan's.
I like Chicago too!

P.S. Now I know how other team's fans felt when Boston fans acted like Lucic was the son of God.

Your right BostonMass,Thornton invited Scott to a tussle,Scott declined. Simple as that. And im not so sure Scott would have destroyed Thornton. I think the results would have been similar to the Boogard fight last year. Thornton being a smart fighter, would have tied up Scott, take away his reach advantage. Until Scott can take a meaningful shift, play more than two minutes a game,my opinions that he's useless.

Son?? lmao. anyway... It would include those guys, not Gillies nor Scott. I think you would have been able to figure that one out considering I didn't call those three out (for clarification, when I say three, I mean Orr, McGrats, and Big Mac). I would put Godard and Carkner in before Gillies and Scott.
