Yeah all Boll landed was the jab to the face that knocked Staubitz helmet off. That was as clear a draw as I've ever seen. Neither guy did much of anything. I don't think the one punch that Staubitz landed to the back of Boll did much either. Stupid of Staubitz to take the instigator there too, I'm sure Boll would have obliged. Jackets were able to tie the game on the PP from it.

I'd love to see these two go where they both agree to drop em and actually chuck some punches. That was a snoozer of a fight unfortunately. After watching the replay I'm sticking with a boring DRAW.

Good to see Boll getting active in the FM department again. This has by far been his best game of the year, some good hits, two scraps, and a couple nice plays in the neutral zone creating turnovers. If were lucky we'll see another scrap in the 3rd but with a 2-2 score its not likely.

I rewound the DVR and both my wife and I thought that one punch from Staubitz landed.

It'll be a case of we'll agree to disagree.

My bad. Didn't realize that, its too bad. Hopefully Dorsett can find a willing combatant in the third. Not sure its likely with a 2-2 score though.

I agree it landed, I'm saying I don't think it did much damage though. Not enough to give Staubitz a win. Just my opinion though. Considering its only one punch he landed this fight was a draw for me.

I called it a win because Boll didn't land anything.

Adam Pardy and the other Flames just went after James Neal for a hit he laid on Daymond Langkow along the boards.

Thats fine. I'm not gonna give a guy a win when he jumps a guy and lands only one punch and nothing else happens in the next 45 seconds of the fight. It's not like the punch did a bunch of damage or anything. Just like if it was the other way around with Boll landing the only punch I'd call it a draw too. Your entitled to your opinion on the call though. Like you said we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

True on both accounts.

I've thought about it some more, and your point is a very valid one. Methinks I may be changing my call based on what I saw.

I'm giving it to staub because i deducted points on Boll for throwing a couple cheap shots while the other fighter was on the ground in the last fight !!

Why should a previous fight matter in scoring this one? And Boll did that because Huskins boarded him last year. Players never forget.

Jim Vandermeer's also in, for what it's worth. And he may be as likely as anyone, with Biz out, to fight Koci, as he has fought some heavies in his career.
