ANYWAY heres the 3rd and 4th line for the Flyers tonight. Also read on twitter Asham was skating with the team this afternoon and may play tonight...either way this gonna be good!

Max Talbot - Scott Laughton - Tom Sestito
Tye McGinn - Eric Wellwood - Jody Shelley

Shelley/and even more so Sestito will def be itching to get involved. As already stated Rupp/Bickel and Asham(?) gonna have there hands full.

As much as we'd all like to see Orr vs Carkner I wouldn't mind Colt taking a night off. Three fights in four nights is a lot to ask of anyone. Brown on the other hand could tangle with someone like Finley but it sucks not having Fraser in. Him and Komi are scratched as I_am_Belak_2 said

Bickel vs Sestito oughta be the lockiest lock that ever could be locked.. therefore, ergo, it probably won't happen

I'm sure if he did fight JT, he most likely wouldn't leave that area alive

I forgot Rinaldo got sliced. Asham skated the optional skate with Gilroy and Kreider I hear he's most likely a scratch but hopefully not.

I just made a gameday thread for this game but it looks like a mod has to approve it before it gets posted. I wrote in it that projected lines, based on what I read, were

McGinn - Laughton - Talbot
Sestito - Wellwood - Shelley

But I like the lines you posted better. Hopefully that's what we see because Sestito can be a solid 3rd liner if he's given the chance, and he'll get more ice time if he's with Talbot and Laughton.

I think Orr finds Finley or Carkner tonight.

Newbury, Rupp, Bickel- IN
Asham- OUT

Wouldve liked to have Asham for this game but still some good potential
Rupp-Shelley
Bickel-Sestito
Newbury-Laughton/Schenn/Mcginn
Boyle-Simmonds/Coburn
Wild Card Pick: Callahan-Giroux

Am I the only one who thinks Carkner is overrated on the board? With the Boogaard fight an exception, I've never been THAT impressed with the guy. Idk, we all have our opinions I guess.

That being said, I feel Orr has beaten his ass enough, and doesn't need to fight him tonight to prove anything. But then I think if Orr feels good after his beauty last night, he'll ask him to dance anyway just to show the heavies in the league that he aint bullsh*ttin this year, and they had better be ready when they see "TOR" on their schedules.

I also don't see Scott and Westgarth hooking it up tonight either. I can't figure out why this fight would happen unless the game gets dirty. I don't see Scott fighting guys this year just to fight, I think he'll fight when needed.

So I'm going to go with Shelley vs. Rupp as my lock of the night. I know, I know... too easy.

Why did Scott fight Orr then? He didn't need to fight him but he did because he wants to. Scott will fight Westgarth either tonight or tomorrow, mark my word.

Carkner doesn't like to fight anymore, he's now an all-star.

Seriously, look at hiis fightcard. He hasn't fought any Top20 fighters since George Parros which was over TWO YEARS AGO!!!

Since then he's been worse than John Scott, finding easy targets that pose no threat. Lucic (who he lost to), Hall, Stuart and Crabb.

That's awful. Carkner won't fight Orr tonight unless Orr doesn't give him an option.

I think that was more of an establishment fight than anything. Both enforcers on new teams, Orr's comeback start, etc.

I don't think Westgarth wants to fight him tbh. Scott killed him in the first fight, then Westgarth kinda held his own in the rematch.

I just don't think it'll happen personally. You do, so it's all good

^^^ this

and to my last post, I know the Leafs aren't a new team for Orr... I worded that wrong.

wanna bet?

in case if you don't know, they are playing against each other tonight AND tomorrow. It has to happen. Westgarth might want to do it tonight at home ...probably will be in a crap fight though.
