After the game Erskine said this fight had nothing to do with the Beagle incident. He was just trying to spark the team after the Pens went up 1-0

I sincerely doubt it makes any difference to Erskine. He's fought the best and he isn't gonna change his game regardless of who dresses.

Maybe now Boo-Boo is gone Hunter will allow Erskine off his leash.

I hate to say it but in the next 2-4 years or so heavyweights in the NHL will be a thing of the past
They are already a thing of the past. Perhaps they will resurface in the future but for now, its all about the middleweights.

Settled on the ice, like it should be!! - - I wish Erskine would become more active, maybe with cheapshot Hunter coming on as coach it will happen a bit more and he will become somewhat more active

Asham answered the bell, did ok and Erskine was the consumate good teamate here , WIN WIN 4 ALL!

edge erskine. although nothing of real significance landed from either if you ask me. and this is why i still respect the hell out of aaron asham. he knew he had to answer the bell...and he did. regardless of what erskine said after the game, this fight had everything to do with beagle. look at the fan response. asham acted inappropriately after the beagle incident, he knew he acted inappropriately, and he knew he had to answer the bell with regard to whatever was thrown his way. and he did...case closed. and it was against an underrated heavy who throws legit BOMBS every time he fights. i love erskine too. it appears that asham gave him the head nod of approval in the box afterward. two good guys and great teammates.
