nice to see malkin show some emotion, great job by him although swinging the stick at the beginning was a little excessive but he was frustrated. zetterburg is in the top 3 biggest bitches in the league. the gloves stay glued on until the refs jump in. malkin was pissed and he did what he shouldve, he fought back.

It was great to see Malkin's frustration boil over into him going after Zetterberg. Not surprisingly, Zetterberg did everything in his power initially to escape and it took forever for his gloves to come off even after he was clearly involved. He's lucky Miro Satan didn't get ahold of him to hand out another beating like Eaves received in the last round. Draw in the nothing fight, but Malkin at least showed some guts, while the best I can say about Zetterberg there is that he didn't try to turtle.

This is exactly why people hate detroit and it eurotrash......

Who instageted the fight? It was Zetteberg and his punch to Kuntiz at the begining of the scrum. Too many Detroit players like to throw late hits (brad stuart), questionable hits (knronwall), like to slap (cuz they cant throw punches) after the whislte (zetteberg), and the hide behind the refes, Bettman and his gayass rules.

This Detroit team would never survive in the NHL if it didnt have Bettmans new rules that protects the punks and cheapshotter like detroit. Just once I would love to see Phily, Vancouver or Boston roll into Detroit and not acre about a win and just pummel these homos.

Congrats Detroit, you may will another Cup, but you are killing the NHL.

I love how right before the fight Zetterberg is leaning against the crossbar and staring into space. I can just see what he's thinking: "Welp, games in hand. Man I can't wait to drink beer and watch 'Oiled Up Asses IV'"

And then Malkin comes in and "sends a message." They do their slapfest and then Zetterberg goes back to fantasizing.

Not so much for landing anything...mostly because Zetterburg dues a bitch move and keeps the gloves on...until the ref steps in and then Zetterburg drops the glove and throws a couple.
