Babcock has to stop putting his star players in at the end of the games. He does it even when they have a large leads.
Z doesn't fight, like it or not, he doesn't. Never has, never will. How many times have you seen Lidstrom fight? He was out there. He should have jumped someone for knocking over the goalie, but he didn't. He doesn't fight either. Never has, never will. Complain about it all you want but that's the way it is.
Babcock put this team together and it's full of non-fighters, blame him. At least put some gritty players in at the end of the game,,, let them take the elbows, high sticks and cheap shots.

It doesn't matter. The rules are simple, when you bend, change or make exceptions, the integrity of the game is in question. Not that it matters anyway, the integrity of the NHL has been gone for some time. The league has become a cluster **** of hypocrisy, poor growth, bad marketing, financial troubles, and not to mention the transformation into a soft sport. It going to be hilarious when the league goes to another lockout and everyone is like "uhhh, what?".

I think what he was trying to point out is that enforcers no matter what get suspended for instigating fights in the last 5 minutes while "SUPERSTARS" like Malkin can get away with it every game if he wanted to.

No he didn't. Ken Holland put this ***** team together, and he deserves the blame not Babcock. I hate the Wings, but it isn't Babcock. He has repeatedly said in the media that he believes fighting is a part of the game, needs to be in the game, and that if he had a roster with more physical players they would play a physical style. The fact is he's got a team full of ***** euros, that's built soft so that's how they play. And unfortunately for all of us fight fans and non wings fans, it sucks because they are winning playing like this.
