No, that's not true Pens33. The typical composite stick in the NHL is what's called a 100 Flex. It takes 100 lbs of force to flex it one inch.
Pick up a 100 Flex stick and try to bend it with just your hands. You'll see it's anything but easy. NHL-level players make it look easy, but it's not.
Talbot's stick has flexed a good two inches so there's 200 lbs of force there. Maybe as little as 170 lbs if he plays with a 85 Flex rather than a 100 Flex.
