I just don't get how you can call it a draw? Can you explain how it was a draw? If so i'd love for you to share...

Of course you'll get more media coverage in Mass than i do, once again, what does that do with calling a fight? Unless your TV's are different down there, i really don't know what to say...

"some of us live in the city and have a pretty good feel of the team" - Right on, that's cool, i'm from Canada, where over half the Bruins team is from, what's your point? - I just fail to see how living outside Mass has anything to do with the way someone can call a fight and the knowledge they have over the team.

Win Ference. His face did a number on Neal's hand.

While I thought Neal controlled the fight with his size advantage I thought Ference landed the best punch of the fight....I wouldn't argue an edge for Neal.

It's not so much the fact you don't live in Mass that bothers me....it's when you combine that with your snark remarks to other Bruins fans that don't agree with you. If you don't agree fine, but questioning others intelligence is unnecessary.

Plus in this impartial call of the fight it seems Ference did quite well for himself.

It's not "other bruins fans" though is it? It's you and bruins29 and one or two others tops. Clean up your acts and no one will have reason to question your intelligence. Surely you've come to the realization that a lot of people are fed up with your act, no?

You're missing the point. The problem with this site is not that people have differing opinions on the outcome of hockey fights (which is extremely subjective to begin with). The problem is people like you, hdbarry, and others who find it their business to "police" the site and determine who should say what. You browse the message boards all day long, seemingly without a real life, attempting to control the open discussions that take place so they follow a path that you determine is "correct". And when that fails, you run to the moderators and call for posts to be deleted or accounts to be locked. It's pretty ridiculous, actually.

I'm going to give you some free advice. Not everyone you come into contact with throughout your life is going to share your opinions. It's OK to hear what other people have to say, even when you don't agree with them. It's OK to argue with those people, and attempt to make your point. It's even OK to ignore them if you can't deal with it. But openly dismissing everyone who doesn't share your opinion as "stupid" just makes you look like an arrogant fool. At some point, you need to learn to deal with the opinions of others in a way that elevates you above the mental capacity of a child.

Thank you.

Look Tim, I gave my review of the fight and HDBarry comes in and essentially calls me a moron. He didn't ask my review of the fight he took the opportunity to take a shot at me. So ironically in that instance who's trolling? You guys are keen on playing forum police yet when you address any poster that disagrees with you it's usually in a insult riddled post....so are you really making the situation better?

Oddly enough you have a Flyers poster (Hockey Doc) that has some head scratching review, yet I never see you take this stance against any Flyer fans......not to mention your not exactly exempt from being a homer at times.

Good spirited scrap between these two.

Especially coming from a Bruin fan that doesn't even live in the city or state, yet acts like a Bruins fight expert thousands of miles away somewhere in Canada.

And Hockey Doc your pathetic attempt to kiss ass is hilariously ironic.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but expect to be taken to task when your opinion is completely wrong and miles away from what really happened. You may not talk **** about people's reviews, but theres a big difference between talking **** and pointing out blatent stupidity/homerism. No one is talking **** about your review, they're pointing out how wrong it is.

Iīm a Boston fan from Germany, so Iīll get less media coverage than HDBarry... but do I need media coverage to see the youtube video of the fight and call it as a win for neal?

Neal didnīt beat the crap out of ference and ference landed a good punch, but itīs still a win for neal... Iīll give ference credit to step up for his teammates but I canīt see a draw....

It's even a win for Neal in Germany!

I'm pretty sure it's a win for Neal in Portugal too and maybe even Outer Mongolia. I realize that in Boston it's a draw though and that's ok, we can move on now.

Neal with a clear win. Only a retard or a homer would call it differently.

This makes no sense at all. There is no such thing as a "completely wrong" opinion. An opinion is a personal belief/interpretation. An opinion is never a fact - no matter how badly you want it to be. Facts are things that can be scientifically proven...like the chemical compound of a rock.

The outcome of two dudes wildly throwing off balance punches at each other in a 15 second hockey fight cannot be proven. It's nothing more than an interpretation of the person watching the fight. If you don't agree with someone's opinion...sure go ahead and tell them that. But to say someone's opinion is "completely wrong", or they are "retarded", etc... just makes you look extremely arrogant and misinformed.
