Jarkko runs into Lucic by the boards and knowing he has a broken nose, decides to engage him. They grab on, and Lucic is steadily feeding Ruutu body shots. Very long fight, with Lucic doing most of the punching. Lots of solid lands by Lucic. Uppercuts, overhands, body shots, etc. Ruutu may have thrown at the most 5 punches the entire fight.

Body shots in a hockey fight are down-right retarded. Lucic landed shots to the face, too, and Ruutu did some jersey jabs of his own. Ruutu held his own against the bigger Lucic. The fight lasted well over a minute.

Milan Lucic was at the end of his shift and dead tired you could tell. Yet he still managed to land all of the solid punches in the fight, and shook up Ruutu twice. Once with a good uppercut and once with a nice straight punch to the face. Long bout. Kind of slow. Win Lucic.

Don't forget the crosscheck Ruutu threw to instigate that fight, too. (Ruutu got the extra 2 for that.)

Lucic's nose was re-broken recently by a stick to the face, and he was at the end of his shift, which is the only reason why Ruutu would go after him. Ruutu still got tuned up.

Lucic must've been exhausted. The linesman nearly broke it up before it got started, as Lucic was just holding on trying to get some breath. When the fight got going, it lasted a long time, with Lucic the clear winner.

Lucic is a 3rd line player not an enforcer he doesnt have to fight laraques dumb stupid ass. Who has some of the most boring fights ive ever seen.but thats beside the point.

Ruutu started a fight against a dude with a broken nose and then he got dominated... sure he didn't get knocked out, but I'd hardly give him credit here.
