What exactly did he do? The feed I have didn't show any sort of replay and didn't really comment on it.

Did Engelland have a chance to fight?

Nobody was wishing they would bring him up. The thread suggested at the beginning of the year he played well as a agitator with some speed and skill. No one claimed he was a middleweight.

Shelly had no clue what he did. He had a smirk on his face wondering what he did in the box.

Agreed 100 percent, the refs are taking the emotion out of this game every time it threatens to show up. ****ing sick

What did Shelley do exactly? Tried to instigate a fight? Told MacIntyre he was irrelevant?

Haha, you guys all crying over spilt milk. Who cares. If they didn't go on their first shift, they weren't going to. I'm just happy Big Mac is getting a regular shift today. Everything else is just gravy.

After the Rinaldo hit, the commentators mentioned in a bit of a roundabout way that big, loud hits like that get the crowd going and excited and the refs take note and want to deter those situations....heaven forbid we let a game have some excitement.

At least they have another 4 games minimum against each other coming up.

The refs really showed something with the Rinaldo and Shelley misconducts. Vitale chose the smart fight in Z.

Also, how can you not be disappointed that MacIntyre, again, does nothing with the time he's played?

Shelley ducked MacIntyre the whole game and went after Engelland and Asham.

I call BS. He asked Mac to fight multiple times, I saw him race after him behind the Flyer net too early in the second. After that he went after Engelland and Asham. I think the Pens were told not to fight after Vitale beat Harry Z.

Pittsburgh is spot-picker central.

I don't even know if it's true, I'm just trying to get him to come clean is all.

Sucks what the refs did. This game could have been fun, instead it was a boring ****. Refs will destroy any potential for rough stuff in the playoff series too. They just don't want people getting to excited over hockey.
