Flyers on the powerplay, and a hit from behind from Brayden Schenn on Tanner Glass in the Pens zone near Vokoun. Everyone comes together, and Simmonds and Glass meet up. They sort of jab, and then drop the mits. Simmonds with the rights. Each guy is throwing with intention. Each throw several that miss, but look to land a couple of nice ones. Simmonds switches to the lefts. They cease and Glass is cocking the left, while Simmonds has the right cocked. Looks like a mutual agreement to stop firing. Solid scrap.

Schenn hits glass hard behind the net. A huge scrum breaks out as Orpik goes after Schenn. Glass intercepts Simmonds and drops his gloves. They start throwing and go toe to toe. Looks like a draw on first view.

A good spirited fight, solid draw. Glass has been a nice addition to the Pens. I wasn't sure if he would be able to fill the void of Asham not getting re-signed. But he's looked good so far with some entertaining bouts and he's a good hitter too.

Simmonds landed some good ones at the start then Glass landed some at the end. Draw.

Glass has impressed me this year, better than last year in Peg.

Glass has been one of the most entertaining fighters this year. Good team guy, good addition for the Pens.

Yea,Engelland got smoked by Rinaldo. He's not gonna be too happy with that,but Rinaldo wont fight him,Schenn might have to take him.

Draw in a great fight with a lot of emotion. Always love seeing Simmonds step up and fight for a teammate. His fights almost always start like that, which is why he produces great bouts. Glass and Simmonds landed some heavy punches. Give a shot, take a shot, finish standing up. That's a draw to me, but I know some consider landing the best punch enough to give an edge, so I won't argue against an edge to Simmonds.

I've reached the end of my rope with Labialette. Standing behind the bench shaking his head that Simmonds defended a teammate and ruined Lavi's precious power play. Fukk this guy anymore.

These guys really threw with some emotion. Not as many landed as I thought when I watched it the first time but it was not due to lack of effort. These two stuck their nose in there and fired punches with both arms. I thought a TKO was coming when watching it the first time.

I have to give Simmonds the win here. He landed a few more flush punches than Glass did. No arguing a draw call though.

Looks like this game really heated up when I took a shower. Can only hope it continues.
