Marc-Andre Bourdon vs Brandon Prust Dec 23, 2011 ...

Marc-Andre Bourdon vs. Brandon Prust

Bryzgalov covers the puck and Bourdon starts pushing Prust. After a little pushing they drop the gloves and grab on. Both guys are throwing rights that aren't really connecting. They start to move towards the corner which is when Prust switches to his left. Prust lands a good left that stuns Bourdon and drops him to a knee. The linesmen come in and Bourdon is checking his face for blood (even though it didn't look like there was any).

Vote: Tom Sestito vs Brian Boyle Dec 23, 2011
Tom Sestito vs Brian Boyle Dec 23, 2011 -...

Tom Sestito vs. Brian Boyle

Huge scrum in front of Lundqvist and these two find each other out of it and pair off. They get in close with mostly wrestling, but Sestito is able to his hand free and he starts firing punches on Boyle. Sestito gets Boyle bent over while throwing some more punches and then takes him to the ice.

I'm gonna score it a TKO win Prust..that last punch landed right on the button and wobbled Bourdon pretty good.

Really like Bourdon. The kid's an NHL defenseman. Desperate lucky punch at the end gives Prust an edge.

No way that was a lucky punch. Prust set him up, it was obvious that even though Bourdon kept it close till the end, Prust was the better fighter and spun him to open up a shot.

Agreed. I followed Prusty his entire Junior career in London. This was a textbook Prust fight. He keeps you away..until he sees an opening. Give Bourdon credit, he hung pretty tight with Brandon, but that last punch was spot on.

if prust was losing the fight it may be considered desperate, the fight was basically even up to that point, so how would a quick 2 timer that puts a guy down be considered desperate ??

It's already up on DYG as a TKO win for Prust. So we'll go with that.
